So it's coincidental that all of the Spanish starting XI played in La Liga?

4 of the last German squad played outside of the Bundesliga.
None of the last English squad played of England.
One of the last Italian squad played outside of Italy.

It's absolutely standard for the big European nations to pick a majority of their side from their own top flight, especially those with strong leagues.
17 of the last Turkish squad play in Turkey.

My only point was that it seems clear Del Bosque views La Liga as a higher standard of league compared to the PL.

With the wealth and prestige attached to Barcelona and Real Madrid, it's always been the case that almost all of the top Spanish players have played for one or the other. Few top Spanish have played abroad. Mata is a very good player, but his reputation has been enhanced by coming to England and playing in the crappy old PL.

And that's not supported by the evidence, unless you also believe that virtually every other national team's manager thinks that their league is also the best.
It's also completely irrelevant as to the truth of the statement, as opposed to it just being his opinion.
It also discounts the fact that all of his players bar one play for the same two sides and the remaining one isn't often picked and is also one of their youth products.

Basically your point is that Del Bosque favours players who play for Barca and Real, even when others think that they're pretty ****.
Mourinho placed their keeper in the reserves, for example, so are you saying that he's clueless for doing so?
Martinez plays for the best team in the world, who utterly destroyed Barca over two legs, yet he's still only suitable for the bench.
That stinks of bias and attempting to avoid a mess with the fans in Spain, who all support the same two clubs, rather than sensible team selection.

Spanish definitely best at MotoGP - Lorenzo, Pedrosa & Marquez.

    They need Jap bikes though.

Maybe he is too lazy to travel and watch Spanish players in other leagues such as Mata.

<doh> The 3 Spaniards you mentioned didn't go, so what, nor did Jack Rodwell, Kyle Walker, Phil Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck, all called up to the senior squad, Luke Shaw, Callum McManaman and Raheem Sterling are injured and our Andros Townsend had to withdraw. All those players, regular PL.

Your 'only point' as ever, is pointless! Everyone is sick and tired of reading your pathetic attempts, to show the merest shred of evidence to support your mantra which has been rubbished time and time again. You said you wouldn't bring this up again, but that never lasts does it. Why don't you bore everyone on your own boards with it as you feel so strongly...might keep you off ours for a while!

...and don't go assuming I'm in some sort of mood, you'd be horribly wrong, on the other hand you're used to that!, but no, I laugh at your posts, nothing else, but even that novelty is wearing off.

Bringing international football into it is totally irrelevant. The big power 5 leagues in Europe will all pick a majority of those players within those leagues. Why? Because the best players for those countries can all earn massive wages while living at home. England is notorious for its players never leaving and playing abroad, and thats becuase the best English players can make big money in England. Its the same in Spain and Germany. Other countries lose their players from their domestic leagues because they can make more in higher profile leagues.
Obviously things are slightly altered in random cases, Torres in England etc. But the point is the majority of Spaniards play in Spain etc.

England have the best league because it draws player to this league.

Sorry if the writing seems wierd. I'm tripping balls at the moment.

There's about half of our squad next season on show tonight if you believe the gossip <laugh>

Off the top of my head we're interested in Paulinho, Bernard, Hernanes and Damiao. I don't know if any of them are in the team but hey ho.

Edit - just looked. No Damiao but the other 3 are present.
