But when were Palace last in the Prem?

Pete is trying to say that in recent years, we have been associated with being a Prem team or a team fighting promotion to it. Whereas Palace and Cardiff haven't.

Palace were there a few years ago, probably more than I think.

Your student loan won't get you far, what do you get £3100 over 12 months?

Be prepared not to eat if you want to go to an away game that weekend!

Nah. I'm a student and it's nowhere near the impoverished lifestyle it's made out to be. I don't spend much on drink which I suppose helps, but I have my own flat and car and for a long time I was paying for that off just my student loan.

You're a student that doesn't drink?!

I was joking!

In terms of disposable income your pretty well off as a student compared to people working of a similar age.

All the fun and no responsibility, I wish I was back there to be honest!

Yeah and you wonder why people didn't travel to the match a few seasons ago.

We don't all earn London money mate.

Firstly our prices have risen a bit since then so it would have been cheaper. Secondly how do you think we feel when that is one of the cheaper prices we will get charged this season!? Arsenal charged us £62 ffs! And thirdly, even at £47 i'd still expect you to bring 3000 for the first game of the season

It's a Northern thing, we like complaining about you wide boys down south and how flash you all are. Don't worry, we'll be taking the maximum allowed. Then complaining about it.

Can't wait tbh!

I know it's a wild stab in the dark but do we expect a rush on these tickets? I'm defo up for going but arent a SC holder and hope I can wangle one.

It's not just Chelsea mate, i'm not off to too many away matches this season. Infact i'll probably get to 2/3 at best.

But you asked why we didn't take the maximum last time round- it's due to money for tickets, train fare, plus how crap we were the season before, for more than half of it, which turned people off going.

And as HC says i like a good whinge.

from a personal point of view they couldnt have worked out better...i miss cardiff at home which could be worse, every weekend i have an event planned and need a home game we have....only sticking point is Arsenal on Tuesday night and i have no days holiday left, but im pretty sure i need to leave at 3 for dentist on that day anyway <whistle>
