Banega has been in Spain for 5 years, so should have obtained dual nationality and have freedom of movement within the EU.

Only if he has elected to apply. And if he just started the process now it would take some time to come through. My wife has been waiting over a year for her UK passport now.

People from Argentina can get Spanish citizenship after only 2 years of being there, so he's had 3 years to get it done. La Liga teams can only have a maximum of 3 players without EU citizenship, so they'll have got it done for him.

Style of play

Mkhitaryan is capable of playing positions of both central striker and striker style midfielder. He thrives playing just behind the strikers, where he always looks to link up with his teammates in and around the box. Tearing apart opposition defences time and time again, he makes space for the striker/wingers to exploit and create goal scoring opportunities. Mkhitaryan has been praised for his technique, movement, accurate passing, dribbling, creativity, ball control and work rate. He’s equipped with a dangerous shot, trickery to beat defenders, and a superb vision to go for the pass.

During the 2012–13 season, Chelsea legend Pat Nevin said of Mkhitaryan, "Eleven goals in eight league matches already is fantastic, but when you add that he is a midfielder, it is phenomenal. You may not have heard of him yet, even if all the scouts at the top European clubs have, but you soon will. He has pace, skill, a rocket of a shot and the ability to arrive in the box like Frank Lampard. This all singles him out as a player who must be watched or more importantly marked.”

If we sign him. I will lose my ****.

Yeah, that. His pace, in particular, is crazy. He's said himself he'd be a sprinter if he wasn't a footballer.

We have definitely made a bid for Banega around the 10million euro mark. Poch knows him on a friendly basis and he is keen to move to the prem. However this is not straight forward as visa issues are expected to occur so prepare for another long month of rumours

Where are you getting this from? I can't see there'd be any issue with visas, and we already pretty much know that we've made a bid around that mark......is this what's commonly known as guesswork shrouded in a knowing tone?

SKY SPORTS: Udinese reject £8m bid from an unnamed Premier League club for Matej Vydra.

I get a feeling we could be looking at him... what do people think?
