The rumour started on twitter with one person claiming l'equipe were reporting it - but they aren't. And nobody else of note is. That said its only a matter of time until he leaves anyway as he's too good for us at the minute, so it's better we get something sorted out at the start of the window so we can use the money.

If true then I'd take the reported 25m on offer. Great player when he's in the mood, but last season he looked like he didn't want to be here which is a big reason as to why we struggled. Only good having players that want to play for you and if he doesn't then it's a "thanks for the memories and good luck at you new club" from me. His true value is somewhere between 10m-15m so to get 25m is great business provided it's reinvested in the team.
Get Ben foster in and westwood will do a great job for us, and use the £10 m to bring Arshavin or defoe in.
