You ought to put down the Buckfast, it idles your mind. Forster has zero appearances for Newcastle and qualifies by default as he was with you on loan the season Newcastle were in the Championship, so it was like home from home.

Fraser Forster must be discounted from your list of players from the Championship for the very simple reason that he is not a player from the Championship.
I would agree that those 6 players have been mainstays of the Celtic team. 5 of those players came from the Championship. 5 does not represent "most" of the Celtic squad. I can see you are reticent to concede this point but trust me 5/29 is not "most".
I am going to have to concede that judging a players merits is a subjective thing. You are going to have to accept that in the minds of most reasoned observers the assertion that Aluko is better than any of those players is laughable. Nobody was beating down his door to get him away from Aberdeen. So much so, he had to pay to join Rangers. When Rangers ceased to operate as a club, he could have gone anywhere in the world.... He ended up in Hull.
I assume you referenced Championship players to make some point about their quality. Here's the kicker.... Sone Aluko is a championship player. The three players you reference are Champions League players.

Did someone really say Aluko is "EPL quality"? He's played the majority of his career games for a lower half SPL side, has never played in the EPL, and we're constantly told by these same fans that the likes of Hooper are "unproven" (despite having scored goals in the world's premier club competition, the CL), yet now Aluko is definitively "EPL quality"?
And really? Posting one goal that he happened to score against Celtic proves anything? Samaras, Ledley and Commons (apparently not a patch on dear ol' Sone) have all scored more goals against Rangers than Aluko ever did against Celtic, despite in the cases of Ledley and Commons playing in the SPL for a shorter time than Aluko did.
