Most of the Celtic forums saying that Hull is a **** hole etc. Do they not realise their club is based in Glasgow? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Because in the same way some people like to go to 3rd world countries and save the locals, we like to head over the Wall and rescue players from mediocrity and introduce them to the idea of "competition".

I think he's over-rated. High Noon was a good film, but can't say I thought much to his other stuff.

Your claiming Aluko is your best player, which i find hard to believe yet hes never played in the EPL, why isn't he a risk? Hooper in his last season in the Championship scored 19 goals with a team that finished 20th and was the 3rd top goal scorer, hasn't he proved himself just as much as the current hull team at the same level with a lesser team?

I driven past their grounds a few times, the stadium is impressive, but the surrounding area is worse than a **** hole.

If Hooper still has ties to the Humber area then this could work to our advantage, this would be a 'blow your socks off' signing for me.

Matty's wife didn't like it round here so I don't think she would be very pleased if he went to Celtic

No doubt, but that is neither here nor there to us. It was patently clear in the interview after the Scottish cup final, that Hooper was leaving. It's a matter of to who and for how much. We'll be lucky if someone else doesn't now come in with a higher bid, which is what Celtic are hoping for.

Nope, more a replacement for Lassad, Miku and maybe stokes whos contract is up and hes playing hardball, that leaves us with Hooper and Samaras our only proven strikers actually on a contract at the moment, and of course nothing has been confimred yet, he passed a medical today, but has not signed yet.
