Your theories that 2.5M would do it have gone right out the window

And us needing money because of FFP have been dispelled

If Bruce wants Hobbs then he will stay. Rumours are he is looking to sell him so if thats the case then I think he would be up for it

With our strikers its a case of keeping Wood and Nugent fit and on form. Jamie Vardy might prove to be a useful player for us now he has had a year to adjust

I along with the vast majority of Leicester fans are thankful to Matty for what he did for us in League 1 but I wouldnt want him back.
 
I for one would be gutted to see Hobbs go, especially in this fashion for a keeper i don't want, hopefully he will stay but if Bruce is looking to sell him id put Leicester as the team who would sign him.

not really we haven't offered 2.5 million and I suspect the player will have been Stewart who has no transfer value at present , the key to this could rest in what the player actually wants.

Not at all surprised.

I think if he puts in a transfer request then you won't stand a chance of signing him, bigger clubs will want him on the cheap.
 
We will see, i can only see him been at Leicester next season as most teams will probably not want to pay over the odds for him, and yes i understand he's worth a certain value to Leicester which is more than his 'true' value with a year left on his contract. Great news for you lads.

Though we had a couple of midfielders who scored more, along with a left back and his tally was matched by a centre back, along with a striker who's apparently ****.

they change there mind with the wind it wasn't that long ago they were saying king was **** and goes missing in games next thing he is worth five million.
 
None of us know the details behind this third bid but logic would suggest to me that the player in the proposal could be Stewart - because we know Nigel has tried to sign him from Hull previously - unlike Fryatt and Hobbs neither of whom he seemed interested in bringing back ...
