Off Topic OT: Computer Game Thread!

Fifa from now on is going to be Xbox Exclusive to a certain degree, things like Ultimate team and some other stuff yet to be announced will only be available on the XBONE. That would piss me off if I was getting the PS4 and was a fan of the game.
The always connected thing doesn't bother me in the slightest, the changes to used games do a little, and that was almost enough to turn me over to Sony...

Plus there is not one game that is only on PlayStation that stands out for me.

Jimmy I am an Android fan all the way and would never go back to Apple. That said I did watch the video of the new operating system and it does look cool!
It wasn't helped though by the block presenting it having the most annoying mono-tone voice in the history of the WORLD! It was like he was talking in slow motion

Re. Fifa - is that true? I'd very surprised if that happened??
And yeah, I can see the attraction with Android. I hated Apple with a passion and Android is the cool kid on the block etc etc. But that iOS swayed me.
Funny thing is that it's not really offering anything new and revolutionary - Android already have the same features (in Apple have pretty much jacked them!). But the design is awesome.

Still to Announce what extent it will be at, but Fifa playstaion players are gutted about it on the forums.
Its not just Fifa though its something of a partnership with EA and Microsoft so will be in a lot of there games I would think..
Wonder how much Microsoft payed for that!!!

Ahh I see. Not too fussed about that cus I hardly use those features but still annoying that I'm not getting the full product.

I'm on the xbox at present and was planning to switch to PS4 (in about forty years time!) but that would put me off TBH.
Thats going to kill PS imo and its yet another step by massive global organisations cornering the market!
PS...I'm sure there will be something online for PS4 users though, and if there isn't then "something" will be created.

Its just the head of Ea saying Ultimate team is going to be Exclusive for Xbone and looking pretty smug about it!
Didn't EA get voted the Number 1 most hated company in America! And this is going to annoy a few of the Sony fans who have helped and supported The Fifa franchise over the years, so thought it was in bad taste to look so smug

I know what you mean but I love EA Sports games though. I've bought a fair games over the years after it was switched to EA Sports and often choose one over the other because of this too.
The only game I really play nowadays is Fifa. Maybe if this really is going to happen then its time to try PES again?
The more I think about it, the less certain I am about the Xbox over the Playstation. I do love to pick up the odd 2nd hand game. And often borrow games from friends. Surley Microsoft are shooting themselves in the foot with this one..
Na forget all that Dead Rising 3 Halo Forza Gears Metal Gear is now on Xbox!
I'm going to end up buying them both again I think lol
It was fantastic back on the old PS2
But had it for PS3 and thought Forza was the better game
Not confirmed yet but apparently have to pay a Microsoft like 40 quid a year premium for online multiplayer on PS4. That took away one of play stations plus points right there.
