Clyne just tried a 1.2, but the other player didn't spot his run and passed the ball backwards. Must be difficult for all the players to get used to new team mates at international level.
Watched the first 30 minutes and decided that peeling a layer of skin off the inside of my eyelid would be more enjoyable. International football, its really really crap. (I have to keep saying this, if only to remind myself to stop watching it, even if there is bugga all else on)

England just couldn't create any decent chances. Israel's defence was good and/or England couldn't create space. Still could have been 1 nil either way...don't begrudge the home side a win as we were out anyway. The supposedly 'better' side deserve to lose if they can't create much. Clyne looked lively on occasion, but bet he was missing Saints.
No real place for this, but Japan beat Iraq 1.0 in WC qualifier. They have Maya listed as playing in midfield...can he play there? He was given one of the highest ratings incidentally.
Losing to Israel and Norway... wow. Plus the fact they only scored one goal in three games. Pearce has got to go
I have to say I enjoyed the WC in America when England didn't qualify. No angst I guess. I think I will follow Japan.
Good performance from Israel. No excuses for England. All the excuses I've heard are their own doing.
