Well Xbox One does sound a bit rubbish.

At least they get cheaper internet though, but I suppose in terms of value for money PS+ is better as you get games as well (some of them are pretty recent and mainstream as well from what I've seen).

Microsoft have really ballsed this one up haven't they. And this from Sony just to rub it in:

PS4 is £80 cheaper that pays for nearly two years PS+ (if you pay for PS+ in one go it's £50 a year)

Also the PS4 hard drive is replaceable, but the Xbox One's isn't.

Henry Cecil the trainer has died. Met him a few times when I had shares in a couple of horses. A diamond of a man. RIP!

I always found the PS3 controllers okay, if a bit fragile. Then again, my hands aren't the product of gigantism.

Haha, yeah I don't have a problem with the size either, and my hands aren't small. Dualshock has always been my favourite controller.

Sony really went for the throat of Microsoft, and took advantage of their conference like Microsoft didn't with their reveal, not seen anything like it. Usually they kind of focus on their own houses, just go out their and talk about their consoles and pretend as if no other one exists. But Sony were aggressive and really drove home their advantages, and then went huge with the price. They are going to need to sell A LOT of consoles to make decent profit at that price, but at this stage Microsoft would have to do something huge not to get massively outsold.

Personally the used games/DRM etc. doesn't really effect me that much so I couldn't really care, the things that matter are games, what my friends are on and price. Microsoft has the first two won it looks like but Sony has a huge plus point on the third.

Sony win it for me easy, actually owning my game and being able to take it over mates etc. Also all the indie game exclusive that Xbox basically said **** off to.

Interesting you think Microsoft has games won - which Xbox exclusives are swinging it?

Halo, Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, Forza 5, inevitable Gears of War. A few of the PS exclusives are stunning, especially Naughty Dogs' stuff, but as much as I'd love to play them and I love an engrossing single player game, multiplayer is what keeps me coming back and the multiplayer on PS exclusives doesn't grasp at me personally. Realistically I wont be able to afford either at launch, so I'll just sit back, see what my friends get, see what the reactions to both consoles are once people actually get them in their hands and see what deals come around.

Fair enough - of those only Dead Rising 3 appeals to me, which is why I'm more intrigued by the PS4 games so far!
