From the Ealing Gazette: QPR are set to offer Seyi Olofinjana a return to the Premier League. The Nigerian international, who spent last season on loan at Cardiff City, only has a year to run on his deal at the KC Stadium. He is available on the cheap as the Tigers want him off the wage bill.
Hey, OLM, can you post on that story (on the EG site) that there is a rumour they are serious about getting Bullard too??? Might just force their hand a bit!!!
Would be a shame to see him go completely due to him not really ever getting a good chance in a City shirt. If his wages weren't so much then I think NP would like to use him next season. He can't be rubbish if Premier League teams want him! UTT
Probably better in the PL than the NPC TBH - personally don't rate the guy. Neither a mobile creative midfielder nor a powerhouse in the Patrick Viera mould for such a big guy. I think there is limited so called PL talent about and the lesser teams (particularly the newly promoted ones) get sucked in to thinking that just because the likes of Olofinjana has played PL he must be good enough. Lets hope then that we can offload Oli and Bullard once and for all this summer. Will certainly free up a lot of cash to invest in quality elsewhere such as CM.
Oli was such a disappointment in his last few games at Cardiff. He never has a decent game...either plays very well or very poorly, too inconsistent and no way good enough for the Premier League!
I'm afraid not! If QPR do sign him and they can get him playing consistently they'll have a decent player on their hands. At his best he uses his strength well, puts in some good challenges and really breaks up opposition attacks whilst popping up with a few goals as well.
I beg to differ. I suspect he keeps calling him it because Olifinjana sounds like OilyVagina. And it's funny.
IMO I don't find it that funny. I preferred the JVOH one! On topic, he could do a job at QPR, but would probably be a squad player at best.
