Where abouts in the costa del sol are you??

Also what's the hotel? As am looking at all inc holidays at the moment.

Great if you have kids as there's a pool at the hotel, a lot of pools and slides at the beach club, and the kid's club runs from 10am-6pm every day and you can leave the kids there pretty much as long as you like (although they don't feed them so you have to take them out for lunch or let them starve). And all the rooms are junior suites, so you have a large double (twin pushed together) in the master bedroom and a sofa bed which is also a pull out twin / double in the lounge so the kids are in a different room.

The all inclusive also includes all soft drinks and "national brand" drinks (i.e. vodka, whiskey, beer etc you've never heard of but still gets you pissed) at the hotel and the beach club until midnight.

It's also fairly close to the beach, about a 500m walk which is enough to discourage lazy people from walking there and the beach is far enough from the town and other hotels that it's not very busy. Although we're here outside school holidays, so not sure how much busier it will get during peak times.

Oi, you Welsh dwellers.

I've got a couple of meetings in Cardiff this Wednesday. I'm meeting luvgonzo at Wetherspoons near the station at around 5.00 pm. Can any of you (can't remember who you are, Rufflad?) get there for a beer?

Looks nice... though I have rang reception of the hotel pretending to be you and said I'd wet the bed in the night.. <ok>

Good lad. Knew we'd wear you down in the end ;)

I started my holiday in Spain today. We've got an all inclusive deal on the Costa del Sol, with buffets for breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and pretty much any other meal you care to name. Basically food on tap from 8am to 9:30pm.

I assumed that as it was all inclusive the buffet options would be relatively basic and plain stuff, keeping costs down. Couldn't have been more wrong. The buffet area of the restaurant was larger than most restaurants I've been in! There was pretty much every food you could thing of - steak, chicken donner, hake, grilled chicken, sausages, tuna, salmon, mussels, lamb chops, spag bol, even an oven full of jacket potatoes with all the fillings nearby. All cooked fantastically as well.

I'm absolutely stuffed and it's only the first day - reckon I'll have to buy an extra seat to hold my lardy arse on the flight on the way home!

Very uncustomary error there Swarbs <laugh>

Went to a BBQ last Saturday. As well as the compulsory burger, there were bratwurst sausages (delicious) and shark steak. I'd never had shark before and it was ****ing gorgeous <ok>

For ****'s sake, I couldn't make it any easier for you old man. Ruff = Rufflad. Ta daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Anyway, unfortunately not as I will be up in Hereford as that is where I am working this week. Shame, as I would have liked to meet you both for a pint.

Try Tunns, he is more likely to be able to make it.

i'm not socialising with the lager shandy drinking 'shire old boy ....... i'd rather stand naked on the steps of the Liver Building, and have one of those face painter types write "I love Stevie G!" on my arse!
