Still, I bet it beats ironing your hookers <ok>

And when did this become the golf thread? :police:

    Right thumb eh?

Interesting, that shouldn't really get too much friction on it if it's where it should be and as you're hooking it could be your grip was 'strong' and all to ****. The range can be bad, if you get into a bad habit while there it just exacerbates it loads of times over, which is why I'm not a big fan.

Unless you can give yourself a couple of hours there to really take your time I always think 30 balls is enough. Which no range ever offers!

In food news, first time I've ever been less than impressed by Pizza Express.

No risotto, again, and the pizza and meatballs were both slightly over done. With the pizza also on the cold side.

The club came a bit loose and twisted in my hand and just tore the skin. Pretty sure my grip is fine as have been using that special practice grip swing weight.

    Not a blister then.

I couldn't be arsed going to the gym, too hot and sunny so managed to convince myself I didn't need to. Useless twat, I had my routine planned out too.

Will just have to swim at dinner time tomorrow to make up for it.

    Or not.

On topic .. I'm cooking a full roast.. Got my timings all wrong too. As I'm just pissed off and fed up with my golf swing.

Had to put my phone on charge while I was at the Cheese last night. It was a little late to call when I got back.

Went out for a meal last night, seeing as you fellas like to be correct in this matter I am prepared to call it dinner for arguments sake, rather than tea.

Anyway, nice little bistro type place in an up and coming area of old Swaners which used to be a big stude place when I myself lived there.

So, for starters was beef and ale pate with onion marmalade and toast. Was very nice, but reminded me of shiphams beef paste and that was that, back to my childhood. Was non the less tasty for it but couldn't help but think I was eating a ten bob tub of beef paste.

Main course was braised belly of pork with black pudding and truffle new potatoes. Very nice.
Couldn't help thinking slightly over done and I'd have preferred the skin to be crispy rather than braised but they did shove a crispy bit of pancetta on there so that was ok. And some apple puree.

Dessert was chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake with praline biscuit base. Reminded me of a great slab of chocolate Philadelphia! Was nice though.

Bottle of Rioja to wash down.

All told, good to get out. Bit pricey for what it was as it was far from high end but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Good lad. Knew we'd wear you down in the end ;)

I started my holiday in Spain today. We've got an all inclusive deal on the Costa del Sol, with buffets for breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and pretty much any other meal you care to name. Basically food on tap from 8am to 9:30pm.

I assumed that as it was all inclusive the buffet options would be relatively basic and plain stuff, keeping costs down. Couldn't have been more wrong. The buffet area of the restaurant was larger than most restaurants I've been in! There was pretty much every food you could thing of - steak, chicken donner, hake, grilled chicken, sausages, tuna, salmon, mussels, lamb chops, spag bol, even an oven full of jacket potatoes with all the fillings nearby. All cooked fantastically as well.

I'm absolutely stuffed and it's only the first day - reckon I'll have to buy an extra seat to hold my lardy arse on the flight on the way home!
