Haven't we got any contacts in the hotels looking out for mysterious strangers. Remember those window shots of JRod in the garden before he was announced. Secrecy levels have been upped if there's something being announced this week and we've haven't a Scooby Do.
 
I think we can't deny that Ramirez didn't play like a £12m player last year, but he deserves another shot at showing us what he can do. He got screwed over by injury somewhat last season, and one would assume with a good pre-season that he would flourish into a key player for us.
 
Lets stop talking about selling Ramierez! Actually just think of one thing- if we were to sell him he's likely to turn into a world beater. Does anyone want to see that?! Lets keep him and tear apart some teams next year.
 
Ramirez is the most talented player we have had since Le Tiss, judge him at the end of next season once he has had a full pre season. He had a stop start time because of injuries and family problems, if you can't see his undoubted ability it's time to stop watching the beautiful game. Go buy a season ticket at Upton Park.

I work in a swish hotel in the area and all we have are old Norwegians and MOD. Will keep you posted.

Agree. I haven't been Ramirez's biggest fan over the past year or so, but to write him off so early into his career. Look at Schneiderlin as an example ... it took him at least 18 months to show what he can do on a consistent basis.

Give Ramirez another year, if he fails to deliver again, flog him but at least be prepared to give him a chance.
 
Conspiracy time! Luke Shaw replied with a blank tweet to the United Press Office account's tweet of 'Who would you like Man United to sign this summer? #mufc', and then deleted it shortly after and said that his phone was in his pocket and it was an accident.

Sound the alarms!

With every tweet that boy posts, I get that little bit closer to wanting to sell him. He really, really is a daft one.

He isn't the brightest, but getting closer to wanting to sell him? That's just crazy. Luckily, his footballing ability far outweighs his brain power. Not like JWP.

Agreed, but all this isn't the first thing that could be seen as a spectacularly daft way of indicating an interest in a move. I just get the impression his idiocy is bordering on troublesome now. His phone was in his pocket? Pull the other one!

I don't think he's interested in a move myself, but I do think it was a naff excuse, and he's trying to cover something up - the phone magically unlocked itself, got onto twitter, got onto the man utd twitter, selected that particular tweet and responded before doing no other damage.

Either way though, I can't see him leaving within the next year at least.
 
In fairness, he does appear to pocket tweet a lot - there are regularly random strings of letters posted from his account.
