Perhaps you are correct but why it would be of interest to anyone in Scotland is beyond my ken. What DD was or was not up to 20 odd years ago is certainly of no interest to me or I suspect the readers of the Daily Record, maybe that's why the Record don't seem interested in frontpaging this apparent bombshell news?

Sure why would antbody in Scotland be interested in what the major shareholder in Glasgow Celtic gets up to ?

Why would the Daily Record take notice or report on the "shenanigans" of the major shareholder in Glasgow Celtic ?

    it's a toughy I know but I'm sure you'll work it out .

    Deary me.

A more interesting question is "Why wouldn't they" if it is of such import?

Everyone has skeletons in their closets, I dare say such a wealthy individual as DD has plenty, but they are certainly of no interest to me and it's hardly earthshattering news if he was allegedly dodgy, however, as I said, I have not read anything anywhere about DD being charged, far less convicted of anything in the cases McMurdo and you have mentioned, so that's maybe one reason they've never saw fit to spend time rehashing 20 year old whispers?

Maybe there are other dark forces at work within the Daily Record offices, as there are doubtless at the BBC, The Scotsman and the Herald, maybe it's all a giant conspiracy to make Celtic look good and Rangers bad. Maybe that's why James Traynor left the Record, to escape from that Gulag on the Clyde.

The important thing to remember is this: Dermot has not face raped the Celtic fans while, at ibrox, a succession of shareholders have and are in the process of having their cum shot soaked up by rags such as the DR

If Di Stefano can run a club, if sectarian signing policies can be endorsed by the current SFA President, if payments from one club to anothers manager can be passed off as a loan...how did Neil Lennon get mentioned 6 times in a front page article about some **** who lives in his building?

Whispers ? Are you being deliberately obtuse .What I've been talking about aren't "whispers" . They are a matter of fact . They are on public record in Ireland and they are ongoing .

Corruption in Ireland didn't stop in the 90s you know . Recent arrests of ex cabinet ministers and even a prime minister would testify to that .

Now your right DD has never been charged woth any crime . Not really surprising that in a land where guilt or innocence was decided on the thickness of the brown envelope you were passing over .

In the land of the bent the man who gifts the biggest boat is king .

All that could change . The Itish people have lost patience and will make it change.

As for your rubbish about conspiracies I have no idea what your on about there .

Lets face it Rangers have given the media plenty of bullets to fire . Makes you wonder why the Record needs to make their own up and put them on the front page .

Especially when they are spectacularly firing such obvious blanks .

The season Rangers romped to three in a row with what was quite possibly the worst Rangers side ever to grace (or disgrace as the case may be ) Scottish top flight football the Irish Gazillionairs contribution to the Celtic cause was to take £50, 000 OUT of the club .

Maybe not faced raped but certainly ****ed over big style wouldn't you say ?
