Gotta love Rickie and JRod, but Insigne is the type of player that would get onto the end of Gastons clever little flicks and through balls

So does this Bueno guy, looking at some long clips on YouTube. Then again, going by that, so could Steve De Ridder.

Going by the limited knowledge of wiki, he's only ever played 26 pro games for Nacional. Scoring 6 goals in the process.

Played for Uruguay U20, scoring once - and Uruguay U23 once.

If we have scouts at the U21 match, it would be nice to see some English young talent come in

That's a long video and I got bored, basically it was him getting hacked down and no assist or goal. He looks quick, but didn't see anything outstanding. £8 million seems hig. Hope if he is the one who signed today that the valuation is press inflated.

Like who? Who would be good enough from the U21s? Bearing in mind the English talent that we already have, just who should be signed?

Yeesh...Clyne, Boruc, Rodriguez and Bueno, plus the incumbents. We are more than halfway to the FM12 team that I built.

    We're obviously there watching someone.

Danny Rose, Steven Caulker (unlikely), Tom Ince, Nathan Redmond are players I would take.

Got a couple of comments from an Argentinian Saints fan - who has seen Bueno in the Copa Libertadores:

"20 years old, but I don't trust in some Uruguayan youngsters, for example Coates was a good prospect and he doesn't play in LIV"

"Nacional played very bad this year... so it would be unfair to judge him for a bad season"

"I wouldn't spend that money on this kind of player for the 'future' "

Where would Rose play? Caulker wouldn't come. Ince - okay but likely to go elsewhere. Redmond - maybe.

On a football pitch I'd imagine.

Him/Luke Shaw competing for the LB slot would fill me with much more confidence than Fox.

Congratulations on the really witty reply there.

Danny Rose is not going to come to Saints to sit on the bench. He is also not as good as Shaw, and is older.
