With the infrastructure United have I place and squad, of course they are favourites to win the title

I think Jose will piss off the press, the FA, united fans etc too much to make it feasible for him to coach United in the future. He will have to leave England again after his tenure at Chelsea.

He was obviously first choice at United at some stage earlier this year but it did bit work out, either because United did not fancy his ego or Jose did not fancy Manchester to live.

Also, I have read nothing about when Saffa told the board when he was leaving. When do you think it was?

Told his family at Christmas I think and Gill in March. Told the players days before we all found out apparently.

Jose wont piss United fans off, we like managers who dont take **** from the press and play games with other managers though some United fans dont like his arrogance ( not sure why, our manager for 26 years was as arrogant as you can get ).

Cheers UIR. Do you think Gill started sounding out Moyes in March or before?

Still not convinced JM is the right manager for United's brand etc... United fans may feel differently about him, yourself included, after seeing him week in week out in the Prem.

And he has taken Saffa's mind games, siege mentality etc to a different level

I suspect Moyes knew he was at least in the running for quite some time. Other wise he would of signed a contract at Everton.

When we went on a one man mission to ruin Madrid lol.

Still think he should be rewarded for that, however much of a prat he was he did it to real Madrid. Well played that man <ok>

Could you put a time frame to that only he began being unpopular around the turn of the year so are you saying Fergie knew he was retiring that long ago and if you are do you have a shred of proof to back it up?

Still managed to dump you out the CL even being unpopular though. Well played that man.

I agree with this 100%, i love his attitude and his arrogance (not to mention his obvious ability) just don`t think he is a fit at OT. Really glad he is back in the premier league and hoping special1 tv comes back.

Hazard: "They already knew for a long time at #CFC that Mourinho was going to sign and they all told me that it'd be a good thing for me"

:)

At least 'below average Moyes' finished above average last season <ok>

Madrid average is 1st* so that makes 'below average Jose' a bit **** <ok>

* Probably

I still can't believe some of them think Mourinho is still going to join them eventually. It speaks volumes of their fear.

That can't be true he was going to Manure until......HE said NO

Jose was in talks to return when RDM was Interim manager, way before it was even known that Fergie was retiring. By the time they approached Jose (which the Glazers did) he said no as he'd already struck a verbal agreement with Chelsea and his preference was for London.

think of how good Hazard is going to be under Jose. I cannot wait.

We dont think, we know, if we came along in 3 year and asked he wouldnt even think about it.

We are talking about a guy who has ambitions to manage the best clubs in each country after all <ok>
