Barca get first dibs on Luis Alberto as he was only out on loan this season. Not entirely sure what the contract deal is, but if they don't want to keep him, we're prepared to bid 5mill. Barca of course need to sell some players (Villa, Fabregas, Sanchez, etc) to clear some debt and fund players like Neymar. It's likely that they'll sell Alberto, but try to put a buy-back clause in.
Sanchez had a poor season there. Wouldn't mind him, or Villa for that matter.
Alexis Sanchez does tick a lot of the boxes in term of being a ****, playing kind of when he wants, etc. He is a massive diver though which I guess we shold be used to? l<augh>
I haven't seen Sanchez play well since his Udinese days. He moved to a top club too soon imo, really good talent when he was younger. Not sure if he could get back on track again, would be a huge gamble at ~20mill+
Villa? Injuries, age, insurance and wages...lots of negatives against him

alexi sanchez fits all of rhc's criteria.
he is somewhat of a sunshine player, he is someone that is an AM or winger and he's a big name. I would have thought that rhc would be happy though.....

I'd be very happy with Sanchez but I can't see it. What other teams could he have been visiting via Barca airport?
He could have been doing business to do with Reina, possibly trying to get a player in return.
I have to say though. When we are linked with a young Barca man as ppart of a deal I do slightly fear another Nunez.

Nope; I just got conned by an inaccurate supposed direct quote. More fool me. Dug a bit more. Real quote:

It's not as bad as first thought. Although maybe not as viciously I'd ask the same questions. That last sentence is contradicted by his earlier Barca quote. Might be technicalities but this simple statement to the first question was the right answer not the "it would be hard to say no"
Wouldn't mind him going by his record, goals from midfield is exactly what we've been missing in the last couple of years (since Gerrard got moved from behind the strikers to central midfield by Hodgson). £20m+ seems a bit steep though, even though I've admittedly only watched him play twice (both times against Chelsea) and he didn't stand out at all then. Fernandinho & Willian were the two impressive players in the two games against Chelsea in my opinion, not that it has any relevance whatsoever to Henrik.
