While sisu just went on his rant about how stupid you were, he failed to notice you're a Watford fan. Irony at its very finest eh? The paddy scouser ain't got a ****ing clue <laugh>

Is this the very same racist groundsman who during the Suarez saga was exonerated of all charges because Evra was playing the race card?

    That racist groundsman?

Funny how often this individual twists his opinion to suit his ridiculous argument.

It is rather amusing. Some of their fans do struggle with the realisation that not every football fan thinks they're the greatest club on the planet and every member of their fan base is a good humoured cheeky chappie salt of the earth type.

Actually I am taking the piss tbh, but whatever floats your boat. Evra is a proven liar, suarez a suspected racial abuser and the FA panel a joke, those are the facts if you are so interested

So on one hand, when arguing with United fans Evra is a proven liar.

Then when arguing with Chelsea fans you tell them their grounds staff are racist.

    Awesome <ok>

Also, Suarez admitted to his comments to Evra so there is no 'suspected' about it.

True, although that does represent almost 20% of the population of the country!

Have to admit I was being a wee bit hyperbolic with my post. But ultimately that was a ridiculous argument based on completely selective judgement by CP.

Can anyone honestly say there is a massive difference between Monaco and Chelsea with regards to the club prior to the takeovers? Both of them are / were reasonably well known clubs with a decent profile, Monaco have fewer fans and were in a rut, but arguably had a better pedigree than Chelsea in terms of overall success and image in Europe. Yet the Chelsea fan decides to have a bash at Monaco based on an argument that he would undoubtedly rage about if anyone dared to direct it at Chelsea.

    Utter plank <ok>

Not denying its a stupid thing to say, and I don't agree with him, but their situation and compared to what ours was shares no similarities other than both being bought by a rich Russian! We had a very good side already, pushing for European spots and they've just come up from the division below.

True, but then his argument didn't relate to the relative strength of the Monaco team at the moment, he was speaking like Monaco were some ****ty little club that no one cares about.

"they have no fan base, a small stadium and bugger all else that I can see" smacks of exactly the same arrogance that Chelsea 'fans' like him are quick to accuse anyone else of when they claim Chelsea had little to make them really stand out as a club before Abramovich took over.

except that Monaco win title 7 times before that compared to only one Chelsea had prior to Abra .. was finalist in both CL & UEFA Cup Winners' Cup not long time before
the history of Monaco club is far bigger than Chelsea one prior to sugar daddy culture .. compared to Monaco , you were a mickey mouse club ..

so what ? UTD and even Liverpool been relegated not long time ago, did that take anything out of both club prestige? sure NOT ... we both come back stronger

Monaco is a prestigious club in France with a big fan base .. they bloody reach CL final in 2004 without the need of sugar daddy .. give them some respect man

do you ever not miss the point?

this has nothing to do with history/prestige, it's to do with a man buying a club in it's current state. They attract 5k crowds and their stadium holds something like 15k. They've also just been promoted from a lower division. This wasn't the case with Chelsea.
