Yeah, don't want him. Can't see us buying a random Brazilian from their leagues anyway. Best when they've had a chance to adapt in Europe.

24 goals in 77 games in Brazil? They have worse defenses than the Dutch league. If you aren't scoring at least 1 in 2 then you're not going to make it in Europe <doh>

<laugh> Harsh but probably true. His goalscoring record plus the fact he's had so many clubs in a short career means we would probably better off avoiding him.
 
Poor goalscoring record, seems to have lots of loans and clubs so no one are entirely happy with him, long fancy name, cheap...

Nailed on we'll sign him, but only if we can push the price up to 20mill

We've had him watched and sniffed around, but his club have forced other clubs away by demanding 25mill for him. He's meant to be good (not seen him myself) but not quite worth that much. I'd be surprised if we even bid the 25mill, never mind the 40mill that those guys are talking about!

I was surprised to see £40m myself! Never heard of the fella but for £40m can we get someone better?! I'm sure we can tbh

We were linked to him in January. I can't see us paying £25m+ for anyone TBH, were certainly not going to spend it on a AM when we need defenders, forwards and a DM. Plus, it pushes Coutinho wide
