It would be great to sign someone of that calibre and it would be a great statement from the club. Agree re Sturridge, but we need options/cover up front so he'd have to be fine with it.

i dunno.... he's fairly annoying at bayern i hear but if true to means lewandowski is not going to utd cos they've a donkey of a manager... which is nice....

I think gomez is not very mobile and frankly bayern are dominant and have replaced him. good finisher... its what separates him from carroll... carroll misses way too many.

 

Yeah,always looked a threat for sure.In some ways a difficult game to judge with Celta having
to win the game etc. but a fantastic assist for the only goal,quick feet.
Watched most of the game and you could see straight away he offers far more than Assman.
LFC were mentioned several times during commentary,for 9m euros this guy seems good business.

He's 29 though, just can't see the owners spending big money on someone that old.

 

We should talk about players that have not been linked or mentioned instead, there are less of them

 

wouldn't mind Robben to be honest,

be surprised if he came here though, i still think he could do a job for Chelsea if they wanted him, and with Mourinho being the manager? maybe could go back there, be better for their youngsters to learn off as well, Mata and Robben both wings,Oscar Marin Luiz etc could learn a lot off those 2.
