If you're given the job of improving something that's not working efficiently, what do you do? You make changes and see if that works. If it doesn't you make more changes until you get it right. With transfer windows you have to wait half a season to make those changes. So far he seems to have learnt from his mistakes, but we'll have to wait and see.
How can it possibly be more than £40m? That's the release clause trigger. Anymore would be giving money away. If you want more than £4 then prepare to be disappointed.
Has Torres turned everyone bitter? I can't remember fans being so quick in wishing a valued player good riddance before he's even left, based on nothing more than speculation.
Think he was saying the same thing mate. As was I in case D was referring to me who was responding to Lucas P but got that stupid null crap lol
This, best of luck to him. If he has been wanting to leave for some time now, fair play to him for having it in him to say good things and wait till the season is over. He is a great player and won't leave for a direct rival, so best of luck to him.
Think it is a matter of when not if but we shall see. Still think he owes us at least a year after all the trouble, possibly getting Kenny the sack, and putting Rodgers in loads of **** storms as well. Think I readhe is on 140k a week so doubt a pay rise is in the cards.
I meant to say that what a joke that thats in there in the first place I do realise how a release clause works, I was moaning about it
Not many doing that IMO. I've not seen many having a go at Suarez, same with Reina and Skrtel if the same happens as expected. Most grumbles are about the release clause.
I was really looking forward to Suarez on FIFA next year too. He will be atleast an 88 rated. (With Rooney somehow still a better player on 89 :/)
"Obviously, Suárez wants to play in the Spanish league. Aside from his footballing reasons, he is not having an easy time in the Premier League. He is currently serving a six-match ban following his latest controversy with Ivanovic." How ****ing arrogant is that (and they got the ban wrong) http://www.marca.com/2013/05/30/en/football/real_madrid/1369899845.html
Doesn't the ban carry over? Barton had the same issues when he went to Marseille? 6 match, if only it was a 6 match!!!
My grumble isn't about Suarez or Pepe or any other player it's where we seem to be as a club. If we had genuine intentions of making a fist of being a top top club again we wouldn't be selling these guys. Simple as that.
I can't blame him for wanting to leave to be honest but he should just be honest with the fans, he said a while ago that he feeds off the fans booing him and he does'nt read the papers so I don't buy this stuff about the press hounding him out. Its a big loss but there are some positives to be taken from it, we will have a shed load of money to spend this summer and its better we get the money at the start of the summer.
Yeah you're right but the fact that anyone is doing it amazes me. LFC fans know exactly what we got with Suarez, he was/still is a lightening rod for controversy but he's OUR lightening rod. His behaviour on the pitch is childish at best and petulant at worst but give him a break .... [I was making a point about fans in general not especially the fans on here regarding the Suarez leaving stories in the media. Ive looked at a couple of forums and comment section on the BBC and Guardian websites. Its like some people don't want to be hurt again a la Torres leaving so are getting in first with the good riddance comments]
