I suspect that anyone can edit the data, so cheese tosser probably just made it up.
Hang on, the reason I disliked him - and it might only have been me - was the way he posted. He'd say "Hull are after Besiktas goalie" and leave it at that. No, 'according to press in Turkey', no 'as reported in The Mirror' etc as if HE was specifically told the story when it was in fact just something he read on a website that the rest of us saw. I never thought for one minute he was making the stories up cos I'd always read the exact same names the day he mentioned them. So no, he wouldnt get any credit.
And anybody who said 'It's bullshit' was just treated to abuse from him, just because we didn't believe it.
Can the club officially announce signings when they make them? Or do we need to wait for the start of the transfer window?
Other clubs seem to be doing it - Monaco are going mental and didnt Blackburn sign 3 players yesterday? Or were they all out of contract so could be announced?
I wasn't too sure if we could or not. We announced George Boyd but i wasn't sure if that was because of the fact we had him on loan, hopefully we will see a few signings coming through before July 1st then
You Tube videos of GKs are pretty pathetic. i'm sure you could put together a video from the times I've gone in goal at 5 a side and make out i'm like a flying cat. I'd rather see more of positional play, kicking, dealing with crosses, yelling at defenders etc - much more than run of the mill fancy pants saves that EVERY goal keeper has made over time
Yeah, he did actually pretend that he had inside information and a personal relationship of some sort with a players agent. It was, of course, all bollox.
I normally defend the use of youtube to check out a player as it really can give you a good idea of their style of play and talent. For keepers however, I completely agree with you, unless they are really **** they will have made at least some good reflex saves over the years. A video of a keeper coming out to claim a cross tells you a lot more about his confidence and ability.
I never said I liked epic-cheese, I dislike the way he posts too. I'm saying he'll be bragging that he's right about this one soon enough... when its not the case just yet.
So there actually appears to be something in this one, read the original thread and always just dismissed it. Genuinely not sure what to make of mcgregor, can't really recall anything about him other than the trouble with Barry ferguson a few years back.
