Have I missed the thread with the breaking news from the Turkish end? Suggesting he's signed for 2.3m euros.
Think I read somewhere that Beşiktaş let in a record number of goal last season!!! To be honest Given and Schmeichel would be ahead of him in my wish list, Alan Rough persuaded me about the perils of sweaty keepers!!
I'm hearing 1.4m Euros - around £1.2m - but from nowhere particularly reliable. Schmeichel would be a preference for me but if you think price-wise, £1.2m for a 31-year-old keeper is pretty good going. I expect Leicester would demand £4m for Kasper, regardless of the £2m figure the papers keep bandying about.
Still doesn't seem to be on anywhere reliable... http://www.soccerfame.com/transfer/19272/allan-mcgregor
Rather premature, unless somebody knows something we don't..(posted 5 days ago) It is dotted about all over the place, though: http://www.fanatik.com.tr/allan-mcgregor-hull-cityde_3_Detail_33_314409.htm
His agent claims Besiktas have accepted an offer from us: http://www.turkish-football.com/news_read.php?id=4669
Can't see this being true but hes a good keeper, besiktas are just utter **** especially this last year
Epic-Cheese will be on here soon enough bragging like mad. And I'm not sure, he's "told"... but by who?
I think he's been banned actually, fair play to him on this one but then even a broken clock is right twice a day. Not sure what to make of it if we sign him, obviously haven't seen much of him since he left for Turkey
He did indeed post it a while ago. I guess if you throw enough **** at a wall, some will eventually stick.
He looks like the kind of guy you could imagine growing up in Middlesbrough spending his life injecting smack round the back of an old hagged industrial estate. Nothing on Besiktas official page.
Would be a very good signing if it came off. Made some brilliant saves in his time at Rangers. Was prone to the odd howler but then again he is a scottish goalkeeper after all!
So **** they finished 3rd, only 2 points behind 2nd, with usual suspects Galatasaray and Fenerbache taking up their residential spots of 1st and 2nd respectively. ****ing awful that.
