You sound like a cool Dad, fatletiss.

If you're angling to be adopted ... I'm not that bloody old!

Actually I can be a right miserable git and I'm quite tough on my lad a lot of the times. He's bright and I don't want him to blow it by wasting and day dreaming (as I did). Tonight though was great... all his choices and some uninterrupted boys time..

Buusssted. Although what you just said sounded pretty similar to a speech I always used to get from my old man.

Interesting...as an overseas fan, I think I know a little something about plastics. Applying tomorrow.

Lived in Ottawa for a while, and in the downtown there's a rather swanky boutique called Schad: http://schad.ca/AboutSchad.html. That threw me for a bit of a loop...briefly thought that someone had created a shrine dedicated to my greatness, which just happened to be filled with silly-looking coats.

It is the excitement of my working life and when I saw this article pop up on a daily email bulletin, I immediately thought of you.... need to sort my wires out!

It's funny; I had no idea that Schad was a surname in any real circulation before using it, but now seem to see it everywhere. I took to using Schadenfreude on another board (mainly because it was a truth-in-advertising way to head off angst about my more acerbic moments), and then shortened it because it turns out that no one could get all thirteen letters in their correct order. Net result: I once got a private message on said other board asking if I was a relative of his...come to think, he might've been a part of the plastic man's clan.

As for your profession, I take it you were a big fan of The Graduate...
