I've rated this bloke for quite some time and as a replacement for Colo I'd be happy indeed.

    A back 4 of...

    Debuchy Samba Saylor Mapou

    now that's sexy.....

NEWCASTLE are eyeing QPR’s Chris Samba as a potential replacement for skipper Fabricio Coloccini.

But relegated Rangers are confident they can keep their giant centre-back as they bid to return to the top flight at the first attempt.

Newcastle fear losing Coloccini, 31, who is wanted back in Argentina by San Lorenzo.

Toon boss Alan Pardew is an admirer of Samba, 29 but his £100,000-a-week wages represent a major problem.

The Geordies are also keen on QPR’s France striker Loic Remy, 26, but he has been bailed until September following a rape allegation, which he denies.

To pursue those deals, Newcastle would have to stump up £20million plus huge wages.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp is planning a busy summer of upheaval at Loftus Road but wants to keep Samba and Remy.

Never going to happen as no way we'd pay 8-10 million for a 29 year old.

Don't approve of this kind of signing. I think all the players at QPR are pretty much soiled goods.

I'd recommend Bosingwa to the mackems mind.

There is no doubting his ability when fully fit but i'm not convinced by his performances for QPR.

As has been mentioned, we're not in the business of buying players of his age.

    He's certainly not worth £100k a week - not a chance.

He looked rubbish and overweight for QPR. He has not been the same player since Demba Ba took his soul.

Not for me, particularly on those wages. We'll be limited how we spread our wage bill and blowing a chunk on him would be madness.

Summing it up briefly, I'd say it was a BIG no.

If they both ran for a loose ball, one of them would get it just before the full time whistle.

Plus we would have to pay a lot of wages, his last two transfers prove he only moves for money.

About 3 or 4 years too late for us to bid for him now.
