Mouser Watch #2

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Hoddle is a god, May 26, 2012.

  1. I'd actually agree with this.

Finally, you managed to get rid of Goofy, albeit his absence was forced on Roy Rodgers rather than him actually having the balls to drop him to the bench, and suddenly your team had a much better balance, seemed far more threatening, and started to put away some of those chances that Goofy kept missing.

How many games will Goofy miss at the start of next season? Three, is it? I hope we don't play you until after then (when, inevitably, Roy will put Goofy straight back in the side - even though you did far, far better without him), because I think we'd struggle against the 'Pool side that finished this season, as will a lot of teams.

Yes, I saw it a while back. Very emotional - you would need a heart of stone not to laugh.

Claimed to be from Liverpool, but was never within 200 miles of the place.

    Just like Paul McCartney.

Mouser, Goofy, I have just stumbled upon a Disney thread?

  8. Actually, you are not far wrong. If Klanfield changed its name to the Walt Disney Stadium, I doubt that few would bat an eyelid.

Yes - but never went near the city, as it sailed from Southampton (and docked in Cherbourg and Cobh)

Besides, all White Star liners departed from Southampton, Cunard used Liverpool until the 1920s.

  13. So, what you're saying is that the Titanic was a plastic Mouser?

Think you should change your signature HIAG. That damned PESKIE has been proved correct.

Brave prediction, Chuckles, bearing in mind that there is an eternity of football left to play.

  15. Hm.

I believe you have missed the point, Gaffe.

I was going to prepare a fuller response, but I don't want to give him the opportunity of derailing this thread, as it is better off without him. To be honest with you, I am getting fed up with his obsession with me, and (as much as I don't like the idea of anyone being banned from our board), I am have long be of the opinion that he has overstepped the mark whereby a ban would be more than fully justified. If I moderated this board, I'd impose a ban on him; and when I say that (to put it into context), there isn't a single one of you Mousers I would ban, for as nasty as some of your fellow supporters can be, they as neither as persistent nor as nasty as PESKIE.

A professional Scouser - talks about the place, but wouldn't dare go there (like Paul McCartney, in other words)

There's also professional Australians (Germaine Greer springs to mind) and professional Scotsmen, like Shaun Connery or Billy Connolly.

Isn't Adrian Chiles a professional Croat? They're welcome to him as far as I'm concerned.

That's also one of the only times you'll see me use 'Adrian Chiles' and 'professional' in the same sentence, unless its something like professional clown. Or twat.
