This season started badly but ended with promise.
I'd actually agree with this.
Finally, you managed to get rid of Goofy, albeit his absence was forced on Roy Rodgers rather than him actually having the balls to drop him to the bench, and suddenly your team had a much better balance, seemed far more threatening, and started to put away some of those chances that Goofy kept missing.
How many games will Goofy miss at the start of next season? Three, is it? I hope we don't play you until after then (when, inevitably, Roy will put Goofy straight back in the side - even though you did far, far better without him), because I think we'd struggle against the 'Pool side that finished this season, as will a lot of teams.
