only be good business to do that if we got £80 mill plus Tevez in return.

position we are in we will struggle to find the quality needed to replace him,we will have to gamble on potential.

So obvious when browsing this thread the people that either follow Anfield Mole on Twitter, go on liverpool.rumours.co.uk and read the Macca rumours... or both!

'I heard from a guy'... EVERYONE knows this stuff, true or not.

As you obviously read the Macca rumours, you know he's generally right!

I'd sell him to City for 60mill easily. We showed that we have other players besides Suarez (despite all the one-man team claims) who can control a game, 60mill is a huge amount for a player, he's banned for 1/3 of the season anyway and he brings alot of negative PR to control.

If Coutinho is anything to go by, we can do alot with 60million.

There are very few players like Suarez in the world who can do what he does, he's tied down to a long contract; we can hold out for top dollar for him and after all the support we've given him, we can convince him to stay at least another season without pushing through a transfer imo.

No chance of City going for Suarez
City's owners are very mindful of negative media and Suarez is not a risk worth taking on that front,no matter how good a player he is.
Damaged goods

With the top 3 all having new management next season, why would liverpool sell their world class talent when the opportunity is there to invest some of the TV cash to really close the gap and have a crack at the top 4 and the wealth that alone brings?

Who actually advises these young players? Clubs like Barca, Real, City and Chelsea are just graveyards for young talent. They need to move to a European team where they'll be playing week in, week out first <doh>

Messi, Sanchez, Villa, Pedro, Tello, Neymar
Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta, Thiago, Fabregas, Song, Dos Santos

Plus a few younger players of their own like Cuenca...

Besides Villa, surely a few of those will be moved on this summer then? Tello and Cuenca look promising and are never gonna play now

Tevez also have a negative publicity, City is keeping him.Cannot see why they cannot go for Suarez.<ok>

Eriksson, Gameiro, Strootman. All three.

Think he is meant to be good. I know they rate him in FIFA ( know that is worth sweet **** all) but could add some good pedigree and winning mentality? most of the time players from porto are the real deal.

"Atsu has found himself out of favour at Porto in recent months after refusing to sign a new deal at Estadio do Dragao.

The 21-year-old, who sees his current contract expire next summer, has continually rejected offers to extend his deal due to Porto's insistence to try and increase his release clause to €30m (£24million"

If Porto wanted to do that they must rate him highly

I don't think having a 6 month golfing holiday is the same negative media as having a player that is accused of racism, spitting and biting opponents
Maybe it's just me?

Tevez showed contempt for his manager, club and fans. Suarez, for all his faults, always gives his best.

Only cos they can't sell him! They've been hawking Tevez around in pretty much every transfer window since he went awol, they just haven't found a club willing to pay him the wages he wants.

Personally I hope he doesn't go to City. I think he'd have a much greater impact at City in terms of winning matches and would make they very strong competitors next season. And as has been pointed out, Liverpool could also bolster their prospects a lot with the cash, although you may just end up replacing him with five or six Borinis...

not too bothered by this rumor.

the press are just making easy links as too lazy to do anything else.

only 3 clubs i fear he could leave for are Barca,Real and Bayern, add utd to that i suppose in principal, but don't think Luis would want to work under Moyes and we would never accept their offer anyway or he would go.

thought the press was convinced Luis was going to Bayern, next week it will be Mourinhio in shock bid to land Luis.

I still don't fully understand the Bayern link (other than the lazy agent is Pep's brother journalism), its prity much been reported as a given that Bayern are going to get Lewandowski, why would they then shell out for Suarez? That would be a mighty team but its hardly required is it? Certainly Pep would have no excuses if he doesn't manage a similar trophy hall in the coming seasons.

Bayern are shipping out alot of players this summer in addition to their huge transfer fund; it's no surprise that they'll be interested in more than one forward player.

if someone left ****e in thier locker all summer it'd stikn so i'd say most lockers are cleared out.

the only question in my mind is who's stinking enough not clean out their locker?

My monies on johnson.. anyone who had those dreads or what the f they are called must accept some stink.... maybe carroll's locker is still full of hair product.

I reckon that would be Daniel Sturridge.
