Neymar to stay at Santos or go to Barca and Real. It was breaking last night kind of late. Both have offered healthy sums and he will be making his decision sometime soon.
 
According to sky sources we're leading the race for Portos winger Christian Atsu (the fella Spearing mentioned)

Also Skrtel would 'seriously consider' his future at Liverpool should an offer come in for him.

Sky Sports understands Liverpool are leading the race to sign Porto winger Christian Atsu. Talks are thought to be continuing between the Reds and Porto as Brendan Rodgers' side look to win the race for the Ghana international.

Ive really wanted Shelvey to succeed but everytime he plays its a letdown. Doesnt seem to have the right attitude. I could see him succeeding at a club like West Ham though. Just dont think he is needed at Liverpool especially with our choice in the advanced CM role.
 
I think he'll turn out alright, but not good enough to be a starter - and not impactful enough to be on the bench.

A season loan would be good for him to see if regular game time brings him on, rather than selling him. Same for Coates really. They're at the age where they need to be playing, not training and playing in the reserves.

Lewandowski & Schweinsteiger are ****, hardly touched the ball today <whistle>

Neither would get in over Borini & Allen let's be honest <ok>
 
Think he is meant to be good. I know they rate him in FIFA ( know that is worth sweet **** all) but could add some good pedigree and winning mentality? most of the time players from porto are the real deal.
 
Actually would fear for this, think Suarez could easily jump at that, tons of money, CL, a manager that is south american and well respected. Would be tough. Would need to take them for every penny if so though!!!!
 
We should sort out defensive requirements first. Having said that if the price is £3m, we can't really lose. Just as long as we use him more than we did Assaidi. I really hope we go for Eriksen this summer.
