Most of you might know I've had my one and only thread ever on the Swans board closed. The reason will probably be given that it was seen as a wum and was causing friction.
It's still up there if anyone wants to lose the will to live and read some of the **** on there, but I'll just copy and paste a comment I left toward the end of the thread to TRY to get away from the crap and get some football discussion going over there between us.
Apparently it was a just another wum comment and was jumped on - I'll leave you to decide, and please feel free to comment on the SUBJECT MATTER of the comment, not just the issue of "was it a wum or not".

"Hmmm.........Vetch - I wonder if that's relying a bit heavily on the old adage "Too good to go down".
You've got a two year head start over us up there and that should show dividends next year. We've got to learn and I hope we don't do it the hard way.
Just staying up has become regarded as something of a success these recent years, and the split that's developed with the top half dozen dominating means that realistically any three of the other 14 are candidates for the drop. Some more likely candidates (like us) than others, but nevertheless still potential casualties.
As far as you're concerned, much has been made about the tremendous coup that Michu's signing was for Swansea, and rightly so.
With your lack of strike power generally, it could also be argued that Michu kept you up. Without him, your inability to score through midfield could have sent you down. Half a dozen points dropped next year from this season's tally through another Michu barren spell could be enough to do it.
With him still there next season to get around 20 goal mark and you can find someone to chip in and help him, you've got a very decent chance of the upper mid table comfort zone with a pop at the European slots not that far away.
As for us, it's a new experience and I certainly think that we'll be delighted just to stay up. Having said that, a clutch of new Prem quality signings in the summer added to what we've already got at the club could suprise a few already up there."
