I was over in Bembridge today. I blame Fran for the wind and rain that attacked me.

Wonderful. I miss my childhood Sundays on the Solent. Good luck.

I hope it's better weather for you then it was for me! Although it's not so bad if you're dressed for it, which in waders, jacket and hat I certainly was.

More common on ovals, though I can't bring myself to watch open cockpit cars on ovals...even knowing that this ended well, the sight of them four-wide scared the hell out of me.

I'm talking about which one would be best to get tickets for, not which one is most attractive, as I'd say Ellie's the most attractive (no offence to KT)....!

I'd still go for Ellie Goulding, but if you prefer KT Tunstalls music then see her.

Ellie Goulding is appalling live. Although I haven't seen KT Tunstall so she could easily be worse for all I know.

Depends on the weather, but I might have a wetsuit or shortie on underneath my sailing gear. I'd like to think we might get some sunshine though. Faint hope, I know.

    Appalling? How so?

To be fair, I do have a celeb crush on her.

Anytime I watch F1 and two cars nearly bang wheels, I still wince. I just hope to God that we don't see another situation like we saw with what happened to Dan Wheldon...

Same, though the nice thing in F1 is that they tend to be decelerating when they're pointed at solid objects...scary things can happen if they get launched, nonetheless, but they're far less likely to hit a concrete barrier six feet off the air at 250 mph.

Yep. I think the chances of another accident like Wheldon's are probably next to nothing for the next few decades, that crash was literally everything bad that could happen rolled into one horrible event.
