That's really clever when you think about it, wonder if we would bother with a buyback for Rooney <whistle>

Should be noted that their buyback clauses are often at the expense of a higher transfer fee. IIRC Bojan went to Roma for 12 million Euros with a 13 million buyback clause, with Roma having the option to buy him for 28 million with no buyback clause.

Doubt it would be worth potentially missing out on £15-20 million of Rooney's fee on the off chance we might want to buy him back when he turns 30! :)

thats more than 1 thing for sure?<doh>
One thing is for sure,
Moyes at United
Jose at Chelsea (probably)
Pellegrini at City (probably)
New Boss at Everton
New Boss at Stoke
The fabric of the Premier League is changing and in 22 years of it this could be the most exciting season coming up!
I for one can't wait to see what happens, transfers in and out, formations it's going to be EPIC!!!!!!!

Mourinho didn't guarantee success at Real. In fact he failed and is loathed by their fans as the one thing he did bring them was negative publicity, although that's not an issue for Chelsea, they revel in negative publicity!

Whereas you lot just sweep it under the carpet and kid yourselved that your club is a role model for everyone else.
Ha. Dream on.

That's not true we really don't care what you think, did you not get the hint from NOFs posts?

Bale is 2 times better than Rooney if we compare both player's forms in the past 2 seasons

hmmm

This season is a complete no brainer. Bale was clearly better.

last season Rooney scored 34 goals... that sort of muddies the water a little.
