I like Guly but I don't rate him at Premier League level at all. The times i've seen him this season, he's been lazy and given the ball away far too easily. He's brilliant against poor lower league sides but against Premier League opposition, he sticks out like a sore thumb.

apart from lower league Tottenham, when we struggled after he went off.

Due to popular consensus, i've removed Calum Chambers from the list!

you now need to edit the typing to say 15 not 16 players ;)

I know most people disagree with me, but I just don't think Guly cuts it at this level. He may have shown glimpses of good play, but generally he's just not been that good. Don't get me wrong, I was a big fan last season and the season before that, but the squad has moved on and he's clearly not going to increase his ability like others have.

Chambers will be back up rb soon. The rest can go, all but one aren't good enough on that list.

I make it 15 players to go this summer:

Dean Hammond
Guly do Prado
Frazer Richardson
Danny Seaborne
Ben Reeves
Danny Butterfield
Steve De Ridder
Ryan Dickson
Aaron Martin
Lee Barnard
Jonathan Forte
Tadanari Lee
Danny Fox
Billy Sharp
Richard Chaplow

It will be sad to say goodbye to some of these players as they've been on this journey for a long time. Some have experienced the Pardew 'winning mentality' and some have been onboard the Adkins bus.

However, the club has to move on and all of these players will probably be surplus to requirements next season.

Does anybody agree/disagree? Would you keep any of these players or would you add anymore to the list?

Dean Hammond - will go
Guly do Prado - will go
Frazer Richardson - will probably stay
Danny Seaborne - will go
Ben Reeves - will go
Danny Butterfield - coaching/will go
Steve De Ridder - will go
Ryan Dickson - will go
Aaron Martin - loan out
Lee Barnard - will go
Jonathan Forte - will go
Tadanari Lee - will go
Danny Fox - will probably stay
Billy Sharp - will go
Richard Chaplow - will go but should stay for non stop humour

Hammond should stay IMHO .

Helped get us up last year , nearly got Brighton there this year , he should stay for another year , doubt he would want to though .

Eh? He's out of contract isn't he? Why would Saints offer him a new one?

Talking of Adkins, he released 6 players today:

Simon Church
Noel Hunt
Jay Tabb
Nicky Shorey
Ian Harte
Joseph Mills

Something makes me think Adkins will sign a left-back...

Dean Hammond - will go contracted to 2014
Guly do Prado - will go contracted to 2014
Frazer Richardson - will probably stay out of contract
Danny Seaborne - will go out of contract
Ben Reeves - will go out of contract
Danny Butterfield - coaching/will go out of contract
Steve De Ridder - will go contracted to 2014
Ryan Dickson - will go out of contract
Aaron Martin - loan out out of contract
Lee Barnard - will go out of contract
Jonathan Forte - will go out of contract
Tadanari Lee - will go contracted to 2014
Danny Fox - will probably stay contracted to 2015!!!
Billy Sharp - will go contracted to 2015
Richard Chaplow - will go but should stay for non stop humour - originally contracted to 2013 - some say he has been extended to 2014

9 to definitely leave out of that list and plus any un-mentioned Academy players and 6 possible transfers

Love Hammond for what he did...especially that 1st goal in the Championship...but we are not a charity. He will never play again for us. Wish him all the luck in the world, but Saints have moved on too fast for him.

Must've been quite a case of deja vu for Mills; second time he's had to go into Adkins' office and be informed that he's surplus to requirements.

He's not really had the chance to prove himself though, has he? I think if he got a protracted run out in the side he could step up. Not sure he'll get it, as we're not short of talent either out wide or up front, but then that's what competition for places is all about. I think he'd excel in a similar role to Rodriguez, but then Jay's been consistently improving so Guly's unlikely to get selected in front of him as things stand. But things change.

Moved on to fast for him Fran ?

Where is the proof ? He wasn't given a chance.......

I honestly feel he deserves another go ,but doubt he would accept it from us .........

Sorry but Morgan, Cork, Davis and JWP are all much better than him. There's no room for him.

Sadly Hammond, who has some talent, needs a tug to turn him round which will always be a problem in the Premier.

I agree...I would love Hammond to be good enough as he helped get us here, but, sadly, he's not. Deep inside, quite a few players must have known they would not be in the PL, but they still enjoyed being part of a promoted side...something they could be proud of.
