Getting Higuain at £19 Mil would be a steal. I know some on here do not rate him, but I think he is a quality player and has the potential to be one of the best. Also, he is totally different to Giroud and is the sort of forward that we lack.
Not true, that's their sporting director talking. We had the same issue last year with Poldi and Giroud. I think Jovetic is very expensive and his record doesn't suggest much for a player of the valuation (13 goals, 4 assists) Meh.
I hope so, I would prefer Higuaine anyways. ( although I do rate Jovetic)

In January our transfer budget was said to be around £70 Million. So I would expect it is somehere between £80-90 Million now.
Looks like Denilson, Chamakh, Fabianksi, Arshavin, possibly Gervinho and Bendter are all going to be off our books this Summer thus reducing the wage bill.
So yes we could afford him.
Ok then correction, You will not pay how much Real + Benzema would want to move. Also he wouldn't leave Madrid when he is a starter for them.

There is a long way to go in the transfer window. I would advice against providing signature lines for all next season, at this early stage in the transfer window, when everything is still largely unknown.
