I have decided that purely on the basis that he is an Argentinian playing in Italy, this is going to happen. <ok>

That one has been around for a while. Is it picking up speed specific to us? He has been linked with other clubs of a similar standing as well I believe. As long as he is willing to swap ludicrous wages and bench warming for something more reasonable but first team football then I'm all for it.

Yes, specific to us. A goal scoring winger would be a great addition, as long as his head's right....

Indeed, in his 37 starts and 13 sub appearances in the PL with Swansea and City, he has scored 5 goals from open play. And of his 19 regular season Championship goals, 7 were penalties, and I'm pretty sure at least 2 (possibly all 3?) of his goals in the play-off final were penalties. The two Swansea fans I know slated his all-round play and said he had a bit of a playboy attitude about him (but they did really dislike him, so they were likely playing it up) and were absolutely chuffed to get as much money as they did for him. I wouldn't necessarily complain if we got him, but I'd have serious reservations about what he'd bring to the table.
