No they're not, that's a post on reddit somewhere. Some guy made badges for competition and the story of United changing badges gets rehashed every year with his design. I'll find it when I'm not meant to be revising

My childhood was spent Sim Racing with a steering wheel and pedals for my computer rather than playing COD and all that **** I can guarantee the best games I've ever played have been on PC (Team Fortress 2 *cough*)
