My comment was more a little joke at how I think Lallana hasn't played that well this season.

Shaw and Enrique could both rotate, it's not as if Shaw is fit for every game, far from it.

No but he is at an age where he will get fitter. Next season might still be too early for him to play every week, but he'll be able to play enough that Enrique would probably feel sidelined (assuming Shaw would be first-choice of course).

Enrique would be a fantastic signing, particularly for £5m. I don't think that would spell an exit for Shaw - as we have seen, LS is not currently able to pull together a full season, and we need someone other than Fox. Enrique would be first choice, but Shaw would learn a huge amount from him whilst also getting a fair few games. It does rather feel like the classic press tactic of putting 2 (Shaw going to Chelsea) plus 2 (Enrique possibly a bit restless) together and getting about 14.....

He did sign a £120,000 week contract when he joined Man City back in 2009, I can't see him taking a 75% paycut...

I'd rather not sign him anyway, think Liverpool are in there!
