He'd be a be a good signing but, unless Shaw is leaving, I can't see how we'd get him.
 
Although it would be bad news for Shaw, £5m would be a bargain, he's possibly the best left-back in the league (when Baines is having an off-day of course!). Always the issue of wages though...
 
I remember Alan Nixon mentioning a 3-5-2 formation. Obviously it's all idle gossip and rumour, but Enrique could play as the wing-back in that.

That doesn't really answer the question of where would Shaw fits in though. Unless you see him as a centre-half?

I think he probably would be worse to be honest. Passing is probably the weakest area of his game.

I didn't see anyone actually ask the question of where Shaw would fit in. I was making reference to the comments of TTSF re: Enrique.

Enrique would probably fit thelcb position more than Luke if that was being suggested, would give like that licence to get forward more...still doesn't for the mould and still not sure he is that good!

Enrique would probably fit thelcb position more than Luke if that was being suggested, would give like that licence to get forward more...still doesn't for the mould and still not sure he is that good!
