2 of my mates are DUFC fans...they see Daly most weeks and both are pishing themselves that Rangers are singing him. From what I've seen, he's a dud with dodgy knees.

    And Millers <laugh>

A 33 year old with a self tan problem who been banging them in <laugh> for Vancouver Whitecaps. If yer happy then enjoy...

But if I was a Ibrox season ticket holder I wouldn't be renewing it based on Miller n Daly.

    Clark tho - good move.

On that part, wasting money on SPL players no **** else wants... to get them to drop down a level or sign 1st n 2nd Division players on similiar contracts they had?

I'm sure he is looking at 1st and 2nd division players but 1. they need to be good enough, there's no point signing a player just for the sake of it and 2. they need to be out of contract. So far only Nicky Clark has covered both points but whos to say he's not looking at others.

It wouldn't be hard to have the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland, there's nae ****ing money in the game. People seem to think that because McCoist is looking at older players that he not planning for the future, but the future 1st team should already be at Rangers, at Murray Park. People that moan that Murray Park isn't producing but now is the chance. We can give the youth players 1st team experience but we can't just throw them ALL in at the deep end, we need the older heads to help them as well.

    Agree with that part...

All teams need a fine balance.

I thought he was bringing back Jimmy Millar from the initial posters responses.

While I share others disappointment about Miller's mooted return (it's in the Sun so it must be true<whistle>). If he comes I hope it's only on a one year deal and that he takes a massive reduction in wages. We don't really need him, but he could be a good influence on some of the younger guys. coaching wise.

ST mentions Daly, but to be honest 30 isn't that old for a centre back and we really need some stability in defence. We need to buy some experienced players, as far as I know only Jig and Alexander are over 30. Crapari might be as well, but I would hope they get shot of him. It's imperative that the younger guys progress though I would hate to see guys like MacLeod stall because of our next Ian Black.

Of the signings being bandied about I'm pretty up about Bell, Clark, Daly and Law. While I'm maybe reticent about Miller, remember last time? Some posters are saying he's past it, but it's the SFL 2 he's going to play in not the champions league.

As for the manager he will probably be given until Xmas. That's fair. My choice to replace Coisty if he is unfortunate enough to be sacked would be Jimmy Calderwood. I believe he could bring something different.

Miller was a cracking player for us last time round and tortured Timmy on countless occasions.

I think he can still do a good job for us.

Only one thing worse than an angry tim and that's an angry arab.

Big Daly's a good Pro and will score a barrowload down there if he stays fit.

And I understand your bitterness towards Miller. He did rip your lot to shreds on many occasions.

And most Rangers fans will be renewing because of their love for all things Rangers - not who we may or may not be signing.

Yip, they're angry there losing a guy who spent near enough 18 months in total on the injury table.

Maybe maybe... SFL2 will be his level, I could score for fun down there and my knees are worse than Daly's. ****, an auld **** like you could score for fun in SFL2. Hope he celebrates the SFL2 title with his national flag <followfollowexplodes>

    Bitterness - nice one Rocket

He had a purple patch at Rangers second time around - he was at his peak. But now, maybe give experience and possible coach the young players but it's not just timmy that laughs at Miller now <ok>

Anyway, you no think Jimmy Bone would be a better manager <whistle>

Seems Timmy's more upset with Daly signing for Rangers than anyone on Follow Follow.

The Big Man was always a handful any time we played against United.

Personally a couldny gie a flying **** for any mans Nationality or Religion - as long as he does the business in that famous Blue jersey is all that matters to me.

In an ideal world I'd have preferred Johnny Russell and MacKay-Steven but we just don't have that kind of money.

Its a hard one, tried and tested with no resale or young and all the variables that go with it. Going with tried and tested is less risky in assuring progress to the SPL.

Nicky Clark should do fine but he might not find it as easy going from playing in front of 300 farmers to 50k every other week. The choice is limited due to finances (remuneration for signing under 21s) and the fact that most decent players will not be running down the final weeks of their contract.

Daly is a good signing. But then again that's what I thought about black. And shiels. And sandaza. And faure.

Daly is a good signing. Talk of him being injury prone seem a bit off considering the amount of games he has played. He certainly wont be bullied by the sfl2 cloggers which Gerz need. People expect an Ajax type youngster friendly journey up the leagues then whinge when the team is getting kicked about the place.

Football fans can be ****ers at times.

It's mad Rocket. Some ****s don't seem to realise the situation you guys are in. The same ****ers crying about the reasons you got into such a state would spunk the trunks if you wagered the stadium to buy a young Messi.

Then cry that he is fouled a lot...

Big Jon will do the damage imo.

Miller will do a job, as will Daly. Both are full-time soccerballers and they'll be playing shelf-stackers and binmen, so both should do fine in SFL2.

The problem for me is McCoists total lack of imagination, his insistence on playing guys out of position, the absolute hopeless football we play, the fact that after a full season, there was no sign of progression.

It's not just one thing for me, it's about everything on the football side of the club that is rotten.

McCoist has had 2 full seasons, albeit turbulent ones, but before Feb 2011, he had McGregor, Whittaker, Davis, Naismith and Jelavic and we were ****e.

Last season we had a £7m wage bill and were ****e.

And I guarantee that if we bought Xavi and Messi, we'd still be ****e because as a coach, he just hasn't got it.

Believe me, as someone in their late twenties, I grew up worshipping McCoist, the original Goldenballs, but their is/has been no sign of improvements.

Anyone who has had to sit through most of that ****e this season has every right to be a pessimist about any signings.

Infact I'm actually sitting here laughing at some of these ridiculous posts.

Miller and Daly would 'do a job'. <laugh>

I'd like to ****ing hope so in Division 2 ya mad ****s.
