Leicester fans constantly over-value their players anyway. If their valuations were true, Leicester would have won the League with a record amount of points by March. <laugh>

I'm pretty sure if we came calling for Schmeicel, offering Premier League football week in-week out, he'd push the Club to put a deal in place.

The rumours about Andy King are absurd. Why would we want him? Quinn and Meyler are much better.

Another the Leicester fans claim will be worth £5-£6million... <doh>

Each team has a percentage of fans who over-value the players they have got and under-value the players they want to sign, and atm we have a glut of Leicester fans telling us each of their players are worth so many millions. Yes, they may be worth that to that particular championship club, but to any club in the market for say a goalkeeper - for example us, he may only be worth a few million less than Leicester's valuation as the thing about a free market economy is that we are not tied to just buying European keepers from British clubs - so if Bruce and the Allams believe there is better value for money out there they will of course say "Thank you for that valuation on Kaspar, but no deal. We'll take our money elsewhere" and if Kaspar wants to spend another season in the Championship (remembering that next year is a World Cup year, and won't he want to be playing at the highest level in case Denmark do qualify) than that's his choice.

I wouldn't want Kasper Schmeichel, the best goalkeeper in the league, to be sold for less than 5m.

    He's that important to us.

But there is a difference to what you want and what he's actually worth. We had this problem with Turner,we think we should have got £3-5m, but instead we got peanuts.

At the end of the day, there isn't.

We're not in a position where we need to sell, we're not a selling club. So you'll have to tempt us with an offer we can't refuse and that'll be about 5m.

But surely Kasper may force your hand? You won't keep a player if he wants to leave, especially if he is your number one keeper!

If concrete interest comes in from Premier League clubs that are near enough guaranteed to stay up and offering first team football then he might do.

Until now, thats not happened and I don't think it will.

<laugh> We sold him for £4m.

We sold Turner because we were skint, not because we wanted to, that situation doesn't apply at Leicester.

If a player really wants to move clubs he is in a strong position - as the manager and board do not want players to destablise (yes I know that is spelt wrong) the team building come pre-season training.

I honestly think Leicester fans are not as 100% sure of him being the 1st choice keeper at the KP stadium as they want to have us believe. Kaspar will see other clubs sniffing around after him, probably talk it over with his dad (one advantage we have over Big Sam) and talk to his agent and family. And without getting into the tedious arguments about which is better (insert Harry Hill comment if you so wish), there isn't actually much difference in the amenities of Hull and Leicester plus the surrounding areas - I'm certain Leicester has got its own version of Skidby/Cottingham/North Ferriby (would love to live there), so it is down to the ambitions of each club (and "We're going for promotion" is what he will have heard last season, whereas "We're going for a mid-table PL finish" is a fresh challenge and that is what every worker wants, a new challenge, to prove yourself in a different environment, to work with better management and to not get stale in your role - something I know about)

But what's likely to happen at Hull? Be honest, it's relegation.

Why would Kasper risk going to Hull only to end up back in this league?

Like I said, only a midtable PL side offering first team football will tempt him to put in a transfer request and anyone offering something like 5m+ will result in the club selling him.

Would he be the No.1 at any of those clubs though (the one's expected to stay up)?

He'll definitely be the starting keeper for us, we've got one keeper and he won't play again unless it's an emergency. Kasper could probably request a clause in his contract that says he can join another PL club if we get relegated and all. If he performs well with us in the PL then the other clubs you've talked about will definitely sign him.

I can't but help think you need to take your Leicester city rose tinted glasses off , if any team is offering premier league football kasper will want the move regardless off what there situation will be , a good season in the premier league will only increase his stock more , everybody had reading down as favourites for the drop but I don't think for one minute if they would have been in for any off our star larkers the player wouldn't have wanted the move , when have you ever know a player turn down a move to the premier league from the championship regardless of how the team is expecting to perform ? And secondly do you really think his dad Peter would tell him to stay at Leicester or go and join Bruce in the premier league ? Not that I expect us to go in for any Leicester players I just don't think either owner will want to deal with the other

I think he would be a better signing than Stockdale, he generally seems to be be less of a 'flapper' than stockdale

I think £2.5 million is a good deal for both teams

Stockdale isn't a bad keeper. Schmeichel isn't an awesome keeper. What Schmeichel and even Mannone have is the ability to make saves which can keep you in/win you games, saves you don't expect keepers to make.

I rate Stockdale, he has great potential but it felt like every shot at goal which wasn't straight at him went in (he did make some good saves though, don't get me wrong) but a 'shot-shopper' is what I think you need in the PL, a little bit of magic.

If we're interested I think it'll happen. Bruce has shown he likes players he knows, who better than your former next door neighbour, son of a former team mate and mate of you son.

Swansea, Stoke, Norwich, Newcastle, Southampton and Fulham could all be in the search or a goalkeeper in the summer. All of them are what I would call fairly secure Premier League teams and would interest Kasper more than you would.

We wont come straight back down
We have a secret weapon called Assem Allam.

An owner who cares as much about Hull City as the supporters.

Really dont think he has gone to so much effort to take us from almost going bust, to the premier league for it all to come crashing back down IF he has anything to do with it.

IF anything needs fixing once the season gets underway , it will be fixed.

    Small steps at a time..

WE ARE STAYING IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE.
