Does he have a pony tail?

A quick Google tells me he is also linked with Chelsea and City.

-

Liverpool want Spain Under-21 international striker Cristian Tello, 21, from Barcelona as part of any exchange deal involving keeper Pepe Reina, 30.
Full story: Daily Mirror

Unfortunately not, but he is still a big brute and strong in a challenge <ok>

Would love to see him but I share the same concerns as others - I'm not sure if it's down to the fact he doesn't want to move to Liverpool or he just doesn't want to leave Barca.

Looking at him in terms of ability, he is a very good player with a great future IMO. Extremely quick, has skills, good technical ability and very direct - something that Barca could do with! Would be ideal on the left wing of the front 3, Suarez on the right, Sturridge in the middle as CF and Coutinho just behind :)

Brad Jones seems a likeable guy to me and I'd like to see him do well when he does play, but he just isn't good enough for first choice at the top half of the PL. So I'm more concerned with who we'd replace Reina with rather than which outfield player we get in return.
I can't see anyone that we can afford and who'd be prepared to come to us who is anywhere near Pepe's standard.

Anyway, variations on this rumour have been around for donkey's so I'll wait to see if it happens.

What price do we think is acceptable for Carroll (none, keep him is an answer as well!)?

The club are reported to want 17M, WH are talking 12M. I think the 15M you are quoting is probably what we'll actually get.

TBH, I just want him off our books, he's a constant "what if" yet with no reality of him ever contributing to us while BR is in charge.

Anyone who doesn't take me seriously is clearly an idiot and not worthy of reading my exceptional posts.

I am not saying that a man who has played an entire career of football has no experience, I am not sure where you have got that from, but clearly your grasp of the English Language is severely lacking. If you had an intelligence quotient higher than that of a mentally deficient Chimpanzee, you would have worked out that I was implying that Carragher's experience is of no use to the club and won't be a "massive loss".

Now that we have cleared that up, please refrain from conversing with me again. You are beneath me and you are not worthy of my attention. Thank you.

Erm, probably from the fact that you said his experience and organizational skills are, and I quote, 'this myth'. You originally didn't say anything about them being of use to the club; you merely added that footnote onto your second post.

Papadopolous (or whatever) rumours are very good - class act. Apparently we're willing to spend all the money from the Carroll sale on him.

Tello - won't happen. Why?
- Rumours are rehashed from a year ago when Tello was unhappy at being a B player. Now he is not.
- He's had a good season.
- Barca are looking rid of Villa and Sanchez, who play Tello's positions.
- He's young, Spanish - they will want to keep a Spanish core.
- He does not want to leave.
- Barca do not have the money to replace Villa, Sanchez AND Tello.

Got to agree with that, we've been linked with him for a couple of summers <ok>

During the first half of the season, I think we would have been lucky to get £15m. Thankfully, his form has since improved and it's helped to push his value.

Despite having lost David Moyes as manager, Everton are embarking upon their summer recruitment push, with the Toffees having contacted Ajax over in-demand midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to Voetbal International.

Eriksen is at the centre of a transfer battle at present, with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool leading the chase for the Denmark international.

The 21-year-old's contract with Ajax expires in 2014 and he has resisted putting pen to paper on a new one; coach Frank de Boer accepts that the likelihood is that Eriksen will leave the Amsterdam ArenA.

However, it is not yet clear where the creative schemer will head.

Liverpool have consistently scouted Eriksen throughout the campaign, but will be unable to offer the talent European football next season, unlike Dortmund.

Everton though have registered their interest too, although it would be something of a surprise if Eriksen moved to Goodison Park.

talkSPORT: Aubameyang on future

Arsenal and Liverpool interest Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will take the summer to decide where to play his football next season - though he hopes to fulfill a lifelong dream of playing for Real Madrid in the near future.

The Saint Etienne and Gabon forward has hit 19 goals in 35 Ligue 1 games so far this season, helping the club to the cusp of the European places.

Over the course of the season the 23-year-old has also attracted the attention of Inter Milan, PSG, Fiorentina and Roma, as well as Newcastle and Rubin Kazan, and all the interested clubs would be able to meet his £13m valuation.

The striker is under contract at St Etienne until 2016 but it is looking likely that he will depart in the summer.

"I cannot fail with my decision, whatever I decide to do will not be a mistake," he told France 24.

"The reflection will be long and I want to negotiate with the club that offers the best for me in every way.

"My dream is to one day play for Real Madrid more than anything because my mother is Spanish."

He comes to us, he will surely be linked and probably end up at Madrid. Look at Alonso, Arbeloa, how many times was Gerrard linked, Rafa. easy choice Pierre.
