AGREED. But at least no plastics were visable. True Hull City fans thankfully.

Sadly its a reflection of the country we now live in. Stupid regulations and hassle that many found too much.
At least the parking was easy. Lol. Far better than a town civic event.

Things could always be better, and you'll never please everyone, but I reckon it's safe to call last night a success.

The main people that seem desperate to claim otherwise seem to be the FC fans on their forum. <laugh>

    Well worth a chuckle. IMHO.

It's as though they're afraid of something. <laugh>

I think they must be upset about us having loads of fat bastards running round on their pitch on Saturday, and then having people there again on the Wednesday night. It'll stop them being able to pass the ball properly the way it's been churned up by them.

To be fair we should show some consideration to what's riding on their games. The consequences of being bottom of the league are literally unspeakable. It's nearly as noteworthy to win the league outright, with the target being to finish in the top two thirds of the table to join in the race for the 'grand' final. Failing that, they can win three games and win the 'challenge' cup.

Amazingly, pit villages have a better record of success in these things than our co-tenants. <laugh>.

I wish they'd just get on and enjoy their passtime instead of trying to compare and compete with football.

Why couldn't we have had an open topped bus going from and finishing at the KC?

Could have swerved the Brady Bunch in town
