...so I guess he might have had a say, but it sounds like its already agreed doesn't it. Moyes might be one choice but I echo Spursguru in so far as Heynckes would be an excellent pick, he's already managed the biggest club in Germany and dealt with a big budget, big name players and big expectations. Moyes consistently does well with Everton but they do have a better first team than many give them credit for. Its not like he's getting top 6 every year with the Reading squad. He does very well to have them where they are so consistently considering their squad depth but he's hardly the Messiah everyone says he is IMO. I just feel he might get found out with the pressure and the egos. He's doing what he's doing now, and doing it well, and consistently is seen to be exceeding expectations, but coming off the back of the Fergie years and with him being 'the chosen successor' or whatever then I can see him getting an awful lot of pressure in today's footballing climate.

I think its an even stronger indication of JM to Chelsea, what a dream!, with SAF out the way its a free run to next years title, he won't be bothered by City either, and he will get the best from that Chelsea squad, with reinforcements aswell...worrying!
How many points was he worth per season? No refs nor the FA will cross him. I think its been getting worse in recent seasons too. I won't be sad to see him go because the amount he got away with was ludicrous. I honestly believe the gap between Utd and City this season could mostly be accounted for by refereeing bias. Utd simply don't look that much better than the other top teams when they play them - in fact they often don't look better than a lot of the teams they play! Pundits put this down to "great teams always grind out a win" but that's too simplistic. The bias in favour of Utd really can account for it.

SAF likes and has great respect for JM and his achievements, as for working 'with' him...can't see it.
Well what can one say about what he's done? All season we've all been talking about City,Chavs,goons and us because Utd have been out of sight for most of it so they haven't featured. How they'll replace him I don't know and as he's done so magnificently I'm going to say Scotland's best manager ever. This is Scotland not Britain.

Moyes would be a huge mistake, since he has done absolutely nothing in the game. He doesn't fit as a United man.
The only manager in the world capable of hitting the ground running and picking up from where Fergie leaves off, and who speaks good English, loves and understands the English game, is Mourhino.
The gutter press got it half-right when they heard rumours that Mourhino was returning to the UK this Summer, but they all jumped to the wrong conclusions, not appreciating that United had already planned on Fergie's retirement. Mourhino had probably been offered the United Job months ago, which would explain why he has been pissing-off the board at Real. It might also explain why the likes of Ronaldo have been linked with a move to United.
The CFC boys are in abject denial, because they don't want to believe that their beloved Mourhino would snub their "love and loyalty" and take over at United (even though it has been mooted since before he took over at the Russian's mad house with its revolving front door).
As for Moyes, perhaps he'll be taking over from Coco, when Coco is given the heave-ho by the mad Russian dog? Who knows or cares?

Odd,I could have sworn he was only hired until the end of the season. If you come to the end of your contracted employment how is that getting the heave-ho?
Although he's not without his faults, I'd take Mourinho as manager. I'm sure Mourinho will want Utd on his CV too.
