What are you all talking about? Man Utd and Spurs relegated? Not during the modern (post 93) era i tells ya
Had that memory surgically removed. I asked them to leave the 9-0 in against Bristol Rovers, just got no recollection of how we got there.
One of the greatest managers in any sport, ever. I still don't have to like him, and I don't. Seems a perfect example of how things which make someone an unpleasant person can contribute to him being a great success. I never hated him, though I've always resented how relentlessly he plays the intimidation game with referees. Winding up the opposition is fine, as far as I'm concerned. If it works, more power to you. If it doesn't, more entertainment for me. I always preferred Man U to Man City and Chelsea--and no one else other than Arsenal. I wonder how long it will be until another team gets to the top the old fashioned way, with a superior manager able to find and train good players without a bigger budget. I think unfortunately it will be a while. The next team to challenge Man City and Chelsea may be the next team taken over by a mega-zillionaire. I can't say I think Moyes is a good choice. I would have either taken someone very young, or someone with a history of winning things. Moyes has a history of doing very well with a modest budget, which I think may not translate very well to his new task. Apparently he's bringing Fellaini with him, which will certainly be a good start. It's sad, though, to think of the All-fro team we could have had in midfield with Sandro, Hudd and Fellaini.
