The best of the Championship or dip into the European market?..decisions decisions...this is going to be an interesting summer.
dip in to the egyptian and central Americas. We are the new Wigan!! So Long and Thanks for all the Fish!!!
i trust bruce to find the right players. i personally think despite there heroics today 90% of our starting 11 need replacing if we are to stay up. meyler, chester, rosie (not going to happpen hes gone), brady and boyd are the only 1s i would liek to see in the starting 11 on a regular basis
Top of the list MUST be a couple of quality strikers. On top of that, I quite hope Wigan come down as they have some tasty players; Maloney, Mcmannaman, Kone, McArthur, Di Santo to name a few.
well that was an interesting exchange girls.. don't even want to think about transfers right now.. those players deserve our gratitude..
Gk x 2 (Stockdale +1) Left back Right back (another one if Rosie goes) Holding midfielder Centre midfielder Right winger (Elmo?) Striker x 2 If we sign 6 of these we finish 14/15th I reckon
I would sooner put Jimmy Bullard in goal than Stockdale. Fulham rate him at 4 million (will probably ask us for five now) yet do not rate him in their first three. Mannone should be the target now and he should be available. We will take advantage of the 'loan-in' situation and Steve Bruce (imo) will do much better than Phil the Gardener did. During the 'close' season there will be a clear out and, I believe, some contracts will be paid out (including Proschwitz who is about as useful as tits on a bull). Most of our current players would find other Clubs in the Championship and lower leagues. We will need an entirely new team. Maybe Chester could hold his place but none of the others are EPL quality (including Brady). The big priority will be a Mid-field General/Captain and quality players who have the pace and stamina required at the higher level. This won't be an adrenalin-fueled, nothing-to-lose team who 'kicked arse' like last time nor will we be another QPR full of expensive players who cannot gel together. Should be a very interesting close season and a great adventure into the 'Land of Milk and Honey' next season where we will have learned from our previous experience and led by an experienced top-level Manager assisted by a Management who count the beans sensibly. Well done the Allams, Steve Bruce and his staff, the players and everyone associated with the team but especially all those die-hards who never lost faith and traveled with and supported The Tigers throughout this seasons campaign. I humbly 'dips me lid' to you all.
