Looks like Fraizer has upset the Hull fans - some of them anyway.

He was pumped up in front of his own fans when he scored that goal and it showed. Considering the abuse he's been given on the forums in the past and again today when he came on, I don't blame him one bit.

The adrenalin packed circumstances for both sides in that game, including the fans in the stadium, only needed a spark to ignite emotions. Hull fans were stupid enough to strike the bloody spark, and Fraizer lit the fire with it.

Fantastic for Bruce and his team to join us in the Prem and very well done - just what I personally wanted, but some of those viscious Hull posters come close to making me vomit.

Such a shame that they hold such malice against the guy after 5 years for not rejoining them - whether it was his decision or his father's influence makes little difference.

We'll see next season whether he chose the right club.

Iwas not there today but unfortunately it has turned out to be a long running saga with him, rightly or wronglyPersonally I feel we should move on, everything is right with the world now.No doubt we will boo him next year, but I would never wish him or any player a bad injury.Anyway in the words of Gary Glitter its good to be back

they should have been thankful for the goals he got that took them up the first time. You could feel there was no love lost. Good run and a superb pass for his goal. Good to see Maynard back as well. Just been talking to a mate of his who said he picked up a gashed ankle in his warm up game. Just need to get our signings in early now.

Absolute class goal from Campbell and impressive cameo role from Maynard. Glad Nicky could play his part and gain confidence for the coming season. Three strikers on? <laugh>

Anyone who starts a thread slagging off a player when they just got promoted is an arsehole, plain and simple.
Anyone one who posted on that thread slagging off a player when they just got promoted is an arsehole.

Hull scraped through in an exciting finish to the afternoon, how any tiger fan could be thinking of anything other than celebrating getting promoted is beyond me and I suspect it is beyond any level thinking person.

Luckily most of the Hull fans on here have been pretty good to talk to, hopefully that will continue.

The others aren't worth the effort, cringeworthy for any half decent Hull fan.

So what exactly happened between Hull and Campbell? They cant be this angry at him just because he went to another club after his loan deal finished?

History between Fraizer and his father (I think he's his agent) over the loan spell he had there from ManU that got them up to the Prem last time.

They wanted to keep him but he wanted to try his luck back at ManU.

He then chose to go on loan to Spurs the next season rather than sign for them. Sunderland came in for him and snapped him up - the rest is history. <ok>

There is more to it then that. During the summer, his father was saying Fraizer was going to sign for us, but we had to wait for his holiday to finish, then another excuse then another, whilst all the time stating he was going to sign. Then he signed for Sunderland, some fans were upset, personally I wasn't that bothered. We treated him well, he had a good time here, but oh well. Then he came to the KC with his new club Sunderland and celebrated a goal in front of the City fans as if it was a winning goal at the world cup.
His father then tried the same trick this Jan before signing for you, telling us he didn't want to sign for anyone else, some fans got excited about it again, only to once again be let down and that is the History. Personally again, not that bothered, he was sh*t in the prem for both Spurs and Sunderland and didnt get anywhere near the first team at Old Trafford, you can keep him, we will stick with Robbie Brady thanks!

There may well be more to it, thats not the point.
Your lot just got promoted after a nailbiting finish, at a time when you should all be doing the whoopdy whoop, the best one of yours could come up with is some **** about Campbell ????

Well done on your promotion, which should be the only thing we're hearing about on your board.

Some were pissed off with him(or more accurately his Dad), for screwing us around when we went up last time, but it was really his goal celebration right in front of the City fans at the Stadium of Light that pissed everyone off.

Personally, I never blamed him for going to Sunderland, it was the best deal on the table, but as one of those stood immediately in front of him at that Sunderland game, I'd glady have kicked him to death. <laugh>

Anyway, I didn't come on here to talk about Fraizer, I came to compliment your support today. There was a great mix of support and banter today, winding each other up without things ever getting out of hand. Both sets of fans were drinking together before the game and many are still drinking together now and it was great to see so many of your fans stay behind to watch the celebrations.

Thanks to all who travelled and we'll see you in the Premier League next season. <ok>

I've been supporting City for over 35 years and we've never done anything the easy way, so no, we haven't got a bum between us, but I didn't expect it to be any other way.

I thought we'd blown it after the Bristol and Barnsley games, so I was relieved to see that we'd actually remembered how to play football again today.

Whatever happens next season, between us, we're going to have a right laugh. <ok>

I think Nicky Maynard and Fraizer Campbell could be our very own Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole!
