I still think that we'll stay up, but there is undoubtedly a lot of pressure on us in the next two weeks.

Even if Wigan win two of their last three, and we somehow manage to get 0 points from Sunderland and Stoke (which I would put my house on not happening), Norwich would still need more than a point from West Brom and Man City. I can honestly say i'm not worried in the slightest.

Interesting that BBC have us down as only having 42% of the possession. I find that strange as I thought we dominated possession for most of the game.
Me too, I have no idea how BBC work out their stats. 442 Statszone says it was 50/50 posession, we had 294 passes to Tottenham's 288. Plus it says Tottenham had one shot on target, compared to BBC claiming they had 4, which I certainly don't remember, Boruc never made a save!

On a side note, I know Hammers fans called us Lambert FC last year....but really Spurs are the absolute ultimate 1 man team, they are bang average when he doesn't turn up.

Yeah the ultimate one man team is a close call between Barcelona and Spurs

You can get 16/1 on us to go down some places. Most are around 25. Looks like I picked a good time to get on at 150/1.

If we did go down some people are going to lose some huge money on betfair, someone matched a bet on there a few weeks ago giving them a £32,000 liability if we go down, horrific!

I have one thing to say to all the people panicking on here at the moment:

Everybody knows that until we are mathematically certain of staying up, there is a small but definite chance of going down. We don't need to have our noses rubbed in it constantly.

Anyway, we'll be fine.

Text from Spurs-supporting mate:

"**** me, we deserved sod all. Your boys were outstanding today. Bale yet again saves our arses. Cheers for him btw..."

Well Norwich would have to avoid defeat at the Etihad, and Newcastle likewise at home to Arsenal, for 41 (with our GD) to not be enough.

Oh, and you can add Wigan away to Arsenal to that as well.

They're not all going to avoid defeat! Of course whether or not we get ourselves to 41 points (not that we are sure that we even need to), is another matter.

Really though?

This forum is a depression fest after we lose, I've also noticed a few posters only post when we lose as well.

Indeed. I'm still amazed now that bet365 were offering 150/1. Could not believe it. Just thankful that I bothered to look into when I did. That Villa-Sunderland only kicked off about 30 mins after I put the bet on.

Wigan beat West Brom away from home today. Norwich play West Brom at home. Of course you aren't worried.

I got 240/1 on betfair! It's going to be a really weird feeling if we go into the last day needing a result, because I could really do with £4820 at the moment as well.
