OK here we go guys sorry it's late but I thought some-one was doing it. I'm not going to list previous results etc as THFC has already posted that in the history thread.

Match officials are Referee Phil Dowd Linesmen S Ledger & M Scholes. 4th Official T Bates.

This is a huge game for both clubs with Spurs desperate to secure a top 4 spot and Saints needing a win to make relegation impossible.

As far as team selection goes our problem area is at left back. With Fox banned and Luke injured? MP has a tricky decision He could give Forren a debut or move Maya across and switch Clyne. Not ideal when you are faced with the pace of Bale and Lennon. Imn midfield we are without Gaston but I'd have started Davis away from home anyway. Up front picks itself.

For what its worth I'd go with

    Boruc

    Maya Jos Jose Clyne

    Davis Cork Morgan Adam

    Jrod Ricky

Subs KD, Forren, Mayuka, Punch JWP Guly Stephens

Let's hopw we put the WBA game behind us and come away with at least a point!

    COYR!

No a bad team selection Lamballana but Spurs play 4-2-3-1 as we do so I suspect it would be more like

    Boruc
    Clyne Jos Maya Shaw
    Cork Scheiderlin
    Puncheon Davis JRod
    Lambert

Subs: Davis Targett Fonte Forren JWP, Lallana, Mayuka

If Shaw not fit, play Maya there - I would no't mess with the strong right hand side (Punch / Clyne) to counter Bale - which I why I would start Lallana on the bench - unless you want to play Boruc at right back. That would scare the **** out of Bale :)

Ideally I'd have Richardson at RB and Clyne at LB, but I'm fully expecting Yoshida at RB.

Don't think this game is really that important, it would be good to see us put in a good performance though. I would settle for a minor loss, predicting a 1-1. I don't think prospective employees will really care where we come in the league table once they have seen the set up, spoken to the manager and chairman and the million or so more that is up for grabs is a pittance compared to our future income next year. Quite a few of our players ought to put in a performance for the chance of interenational recognition. Also Lallana said that Pochettino gave the best speech he'd ever heard right before the man city game so I would expect him to have the players motivated.

Personally, I'd like to see a Richardson-Clyne full backs, or even Clyne-Reeves but I can't see either of those pairings happening.

Realistically, I can see Cork or Yoshida at RB, with either JWP or Fonte coming in. Putting Cork there will upset/change the midfield far too much, especially with Ramirez out suspended.

Back now, their season has ended. Same with all our L1/L2 loanees - Dickson, Hoskins, Seaborne, Forecast etc

Right you are. Any sign that any of them are actually back at the club? (other than Hoskins, who is playing for the U21s right now)

No sign, just assuming after seeing Hoskins back - otherwise I doubt he would be back for a needless few weeks and others aren't.

He looked alright most of the times I saw him, I think he had one very bad game but he has been playing regularly at southend and it seems like they would be very happy to have him back there. Pulling Clyne away from right back would have Bale and whoever else tearing us apart down the left, Reeves is our best bet I feel.

Not a long term option by any means, but he will do a steady enough job for us. At least Reeves is a natural LB, whereas all over options will be square pegging in a round hole.

Team I would play. I think it's the team that Pochettino will play also unless Shaw is back.

Dickson's loan spell came to an end some time ago, due to his injury (broken ankle from memory). Week after the league cup final he picked it up.
