Poor from Shaw to let him cut inside. Fox would be destroyed by us lot if that were him.

To be fair Shaw had to cover the overlap as well and no-one gave him any help, he got inside of Shaw but still ran about 15 yards with the ball with no-one else closing him down on the edge of the box, don't think you can blame him there.

Never mind, we played well, next season I am confident we will convert those types of performances into results.

I didnt expect anything from this game, that point would have been nice though. I think we will win both of our games remaining

Exactly!

If someone was worried about our survival hopes prior to today - and there are many - then I've no problem. But I have got a problem with anyone who has suddenly become worried. Did those people expect us to get something from this game??!!!!

As I say, if you were confident before today, you should still be confident now.

We never seem to be a side who get late goals. West Ham went down with 42 points a few years ago so it will probably go to the last game F@ck
This. We need better impact players, no wonder people leave early at St Mary's. It'll go down to the last game, yes, but I think we'll come 16th. Predicting draws against Sunderland and Stoke, will 41 points be enough?

Yes there are no clubs between us and Wigan are there.....

Nothing wrong with being a little bit worried. We've not scored in 3 games. Wigan's game in hand is a home game. It's called reality. The table is tight and we are slipping. That's a fact.

They have a game in hand. Reality check.

Indeed, which means that they need to win two of three against Swansea, Arsenal and Villa. Plus, Norwich needs to win against either West Brom or Man City, Sunderland needs to beat us, and Newcastle needs to win one of their two against QPR and Arsenal. If all of those things happen, then we'll need to pick up at least one point from two games.

Didn't deserve that at all, was that Tottenham's only shot on target all game? I guess this is what happens when you come against teams with players like Bale in.

So are Newcastle and they have less points then us.

On a side note, I know Hammers fans called us Lambert FC last year....but really Spurs are the absolute ultimate 1 man team, they are bang average when he doesn't turn up.

Fair point. But no-one helps Fox out either. People seem to happily ignore that though.

So today has been a pretty bad but not unexpected day. West Broms performance against us was a blip in their second half of the season and I had a feeling Wigan would win today. It was also always likely that we would lose to Spurs, especially with Morgan missing. Wigan still have a lot to do though, and I think we will win at least one of our remaining 2 games.

I'm surprised how well we did without Morgan. We play like that away at Sunderland and we'll be fine, I am really concerned that we are scoring Zero goals at the moment though.

Wigan is actually worse at home.
